Located five minutes from the Jesuit ruins, the Posada Maria is a good base for exploring the region. The hotel is very clean and modern and has everything you need for a short stay. The pool is great to cool off on the warm summer days and the breakfast is amazing, a true continental one with delicious bread (hard to come by in South America) and a good variation of products. We had dinner here as well, which was super good as well. German kitchen, but refreshing after our month travelling around! Staff is very kind and friendly and can give tips and advice! When the rain started dripping through the roof into our room, we immediately got another one. Very smooth!

A little oasis, in Trinidad. The location is great for the ruins. The staff are all extremely friendly, and Hendryk speaks English. The breakfast is excellent and complete. The fresh bread and preserves are worth the trip. There's a small shop, selling cakes and sweets, and a restaurant for the evenings.

Perfect location ( the proximity to the mission made the night show so much easier to attend. Very warm homely feel from the hosts, great breakfast with homemade jams and bread. We had dinner twice and we can recommend the restaurant at the premises as well.

Really friendly staff who helped me out with all the information I needed! A lot you cannot find online in Paraguay, but they luckily know everything about the area and transportation.

“Excellent place in Trinidad”

Excellent stay, all clean and new. Very comfortable room and bed and very good shower. There is an eletric kettle available if you need hot water for yerba mate and tea. Tasteful breakfast, with delicious jams, bread and yoghurt made in the property.

This is a fabulous hotel and made our stay in Trinidad. Plus points for me were the incredibly warm and welcoming staff - including the hotels' two wonderful dogs; the great food at the restaurant, including a great selection of ice creams, which welcomes non-guests and well worth the 2 minute walk from the Mission and the fact the hotel was spotlessly clean. We also appreciated the help arranging onward transport and visits to other nearby missions. Truly great place and thoroughly recommended

Posada María Trinidad is the best option if visiting the Jesuit Ruins. Everything is perfect- just 50 meters from the ruins, allowing you to enjoy the night show and sound experience as well. They also help organize a taxi to visit Jesús de Tavarangue, which is a must-see.

Great room, central location. Included breakfast was amazing - huge buffet with everything home made (eggs, bread, jams, cakes etc)

Excellent reception, phenomenal breakfast.

An incredibly clean and peaceful hotel, just down the road from the main tourist attraction. Welcoming and easy going staff, and one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had in this part of the world. Can't find any faults, and for this very reasonable price it's a steal. A couple of friendly dogs and cats to top it off.

Very clean, spacious room. Kind reception and great hospitality. Location incredibly convenient as right next to the ruins. Excellent food and pastries, the only risk is eating too much.

Wonderful owners and staff always ready to make your stay even more comfortable. They have a restaurant too, which serves delicious food and desserts. My room was big and clean with very comfortable bed. And hot water in shower (which is pretty great during winter time)! The hotel is just around 100 metres from the Jesuit ruins of Trinidad. Highly recommended!
