The stay in this beautifull guest house with a big garden, hammocks between the big trees is a 5+ stay in Trinco. Go for the breakfast and ask Rangan if Rangan will prepare the dinner for you. I really recommendnhis fresh fish dishes. The best I had in Sri Lanka and I tasted a lot over the last months.

Rangan is the kind of host you wish you could find in every hostel. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel right at home with his constant smile and helpful attitude. He went above and beyond to take care of me when I fell ill, which I am incredibly grateful for. On top of his amazing hospitality, he is an incredible chef! don't miss out on his food! Highly recommended

location was perfect. host cooked a lovely dinner. very nice guy always helping to find the best deals for tuk tuk or taxi. highly recommended. very clean.

really good! great hostel with an excellent host in Rangan. couldn't have asked for anything better.

I was in low season and everything was closed besides few restaurants. Was also raining most of the time but nevertheless I had a nice stay and the owner took care of me as I was a bit sick. Will be back!

Had a great time at the white house. It's a chill place, a little away from the noisy clubs but an awesome location as it is so close to the beach and the restaurants. Had fun playing some board games some nights with the other guests. Lots of great curry restaurants in the street. Rangan is such a cool guy. If you are considering snorkeling or scuba, he is your guy! Beds are comfortable and towel included, that you don't have everywhere. I extended my stay more than once, so that should give you an idea of how great it was.

Loved my stay in the White House. The owner Rangan was not here but his nephews were. Rangan still reached out to me, he send a message that I could call him when something was wrong with WiFi, helped me with the bus timetable and organized snorkeling for me. his nephews run the place now and there were very good looks, nice breakfast and fish in the evening.
