“Lovely Staff, peaceful location with private beach, great food.”

Lovely rooms located next to a private beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless and service on the terrace if wanted. We had a breakfast and dinner here which were both lovely with fab seafood and good coffee. Manager arranged trips directly from our beach which was great as we didn’t have to travel to nearby town for sea based trips like dolphin watching and snorkelling.

“Relaxed stay in a secluded place with nice garden”

We had a very comfortable 4 nights stay at this quiet and secluded place. The bungalows are spacious. The garden is very beautiful and well maintained. Having breakfast at the porch every morning is definitely a great way to start the day, it was so relaxing. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. They not only gave us great hints about the environment but also helped us arranging some activities. A stunning wide sand beach was just a few steps away. We really enjoyed our stay at Regina Bungalows.

“Great private beach location with Cabanas.”

Spacious room, beautifully kept private grounds with hammocks and sunbeds, very good shower, comfortable bed, friendly staff and an absolutely amazing dinner of grilled tuna and prawns, served with fried rice/noodles and very fresh garden salad. The serves were large.

We loved everything. The staff are marvelous, the accommodation is so comfortable and the area is stunning, beautiful well maintained gardens and a fabulous beach all to yourself on your doorstep. The food is the best we have had in Sri Lanka and we would like to thank the ladies that cooked it.

The Staff are super nice and fully professional. We were greeted with chilled coconuts picked from the palmtrees growing in the resort"s garden - absolutely Royal welcome. The breakfast was serrved on the verandah with a view over a beautifull garden. The cottage's decor pays heed to the islands craftsmanship and sublime esthetics. On top of it all, the Beach is only a few paces away from this five-star establishment. I am already planning my return.

Wonderful stay at Regina Beach Bungalow! From the warm welcome with fresh coconut milk to the immaculate, spacious bungalows set in a beautifully maintained garden, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Breakfast served in the bungalow each morning was delicious and varied, with fresh fruit, great coffee, and eggs made to order. The private, peaceful beach with sun loungers and cabanas is ideal for relaxing, and the seafood dinners were outstanding — some of the best fish we’ve ever had. The evening began with a very welcome gin and tonic offered by Owner himself. The staff was also very helpful in . The snorkeling trip organized directly from the beach was also fantastic. Exceptional hospitality, stunning location, and impeccable service. Highly recommended — we would gladly return!

The staff were extremely friendly and always helpful. The accommodation was very clean and the breakfast was delicious and well-balanced. The location is perfect for the beach, which is only a 3-minute walk away. There are also sun loungers on the beach that guests are welcome to use. The rooms are air-conditioned. Guests can also relax in the garden and use the hammocks. All in all, a great vacation spot for quiet and relaxing days.

We absolutely loved everything about this property. The location was so secluded and we basically had our own private beach. The staff were so so lovely and wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for nicer people!

Very clean accommodation in a beautiful garden very close to a clean beach.Tasty breakfast and dinner.

We liked all, to be honest. Regina and her staff are so kind, helpful and friendly. The room was big and clean, well working air conditioning and no mosquitos at all !! The meals we ordered there were fabulous and every time fresh prepared. The beach is like 100mt away from the bungalow, and it is just a wonderful beach, almost private (you can maybe meet 10 people per day or less). The garden around the accommodation is so well maintained and full of trees and flowers. You can relax on the beach under the private cabana or at the garden on the hammocks. Is true that there is a cemetery close to the property, but it is nothing that bothers you at all. They also have a night guard at the gate. We can absolutely 💯 recommend this place if you are visiting Trinco and want to relax in a peaceful place, avoiding the crowds.

A warm and pleasant welcome. The rooms, set within a beautiful private garden, were spotless and very comfortable. Waking up in the morning to nothing but birdsong made the stay feel truly special, a perfect retreat in nature. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and spoke good English. Other than that, the hotel has a wonderful private beach right in front of it. The city center is just 10 minutes away by tuk-tuk. If you are looking for a quiet, clean place surrounded by nature, this is the right choice.

The place has a relaxed, authentic charm and is located right by the beach – perfect for unwinding. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional service. The owner is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about his guests. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and shared great tips about the area. The food was absolutely outstanding – probably the best we had in Sri Lanka! Everything was freshly prepared, full of flavor, and made with love. We looked forward to every meal. “An absolute MUST in Trincomalee!”

This was our favourite accommodation after a month travelling through the beautiful country of Sri Lanka. There is everything to love about this property, plus more. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and so well maintained. Our room was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were so kind and very attentive, always taking the time to chat to our toddler. The private section of beach is a 2 minute walk out the front of the property and is pristine with clear blue water and soft white sand, absolute heaven. The main street is a 10 minute drive away and can be reached by tuk tuk. The tranquil location of the property is definitely worth the short drive to and from. If you find yourself in Trincomalee, do yourself a favour and spend some time at Regina Beach Bungalow, you won't regret it. We liked everything about this accommodation. It is in a paradisiacal area, the staff is very attentive and helpful. The food is incredible, I recommend that you eat at the accommodation because you can enjoy the typical food. They also help you book activities with local people. The beach is magnificent, in addition the dogs there are very friendly, especially Juli is a very special dog that you can see on the beach and if you are there you can feed her and she is very grateful :) My whole stay was excellent!
