The accomodation is basic but fine for the price. I did not like the owner because they very scammy about rooms with A/C or no A/C while all the rooms had A/C. They trick you with this. Watch out

“Pleasant stay a in a little jungle paradise”

The bungalow is in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants but little further away from the street so you don’t hear any traffic. It has a beautiful little garden and a lot of shared space for sitting and relaxing. The owner is a very friendly and nice man, he let us use his kitchen and rented his scooter. Although the room is not too big and is lacking a little more storage space, we spent 5 comfortable nights and enjoyed our stay very much. Plus the wifi is really good!

A pleasant stay with a friendly host. The room was great, and they thought of absolutely everything. We were able to park the tuk-tuk easily. The kitchen was available if needed. Highly recommended. Thanks for the hospitality!

At the beginning of our journey, it was a bit difficult, no WiFi, because of the monkeys, and they didn’t say anything about the cold water, yes because when you are choosing no ac it’s always cold water, but nothing is mentioned. But the owner found solution of everything and our stay was really pleasant

Convenient location, close to many restaurants. Room was great for the value, hot water, comfortable bed and it has everything that you need. I had a balcony where I could relaxed. It also offers a shared kitchen with coffee, tea and refill water and a fridge where you can store your stuff. The owner was very helpful with anything related to the guest house but also for recommendations for directions, thanks!

“Beautiful house close to the beach!”

We were welcomed with a cup of Tee, really appreciated. Easy to reach, 5 minutes on foot from the beach. A lovely big House where to enjoy the vacation in Sri Lanka, with common spaces. Lots of restaurants close by. AC and Wi-Fi were working good. Staff also very friendly and nice! We really enjoyed our stay here.

“Super”

I loved staying here. The location is perfect. Close to shops. restaurants and the beach but down a little side street so it is quiet and has a jungle feeling. The garden is so green and calming. The room is lovely, clean and comfortable and has a nice terrace to sit on. And surprisingly, I didn't get bitten by mosquitoes. The best thing though is the owner. The sweetest guy. Always friendly and helpful. We had lots of nice chats. I could easily have stayed longer.

“Very good place, super location, friendly and funny stuff and very good price”

It’s a very cute place, very central but still in a quite street. You reach easily to the Beach in like 5 minutes walking, all resteraunts and Bars are very close. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All in all it’s a great location and the stuff is very funny and has always a good mood. Thank you for the good time we could spend at your place.

I absolutely loved my time at Pearl Bungalow in Trincomalee. I came here thinking I’d stay 4 days, and somehow it turned into almost 2 weeks. The location was perfect for me — close to the main street with shops and restaurants, and just a short walk to the beach. But the bungalow itself is tucked away in a quiet little side street, so you can really rest. Outside it’s full of trees, flowers and green everywhere, with hammocks swinging in the shade. I didn’t plan my stay well, so I ended up changing rooms 3 times and every time the nice personnel helped me so much, even giving me discounts. All the rooms were super clean, had air conditioning (a lifesaver in the Trinco heat), and the beds were comfy. My favorite was the one with a balcony — I could sit there for hours, the view was just so sweet. But honestly, what made this place special were the people. The owner, his wife, and Arthur were the kindest souls — always ready to help with anything, whether it was laundry, getting a birthday cake, or figuring out buses. They even woke up early to give me a ride to the bus stop. I left with such a warm feeling in my heart. This place felt like home, and I’d tell anyone going to Trincomalee to stay here, you’ll be happy you did.

Apart from being a beautiful property surrounded by plants and being in a great location, the best thing about this property are the staff. We arrived very early in the morning from the train station and they made us tea and let us relax there until our room was ready- they let us check in early. We were able to hire a moped easily for a good price from the property, and were always greeted with a smile. The room itself was perfect for the price and we would not hesitate to re-book if we return.

What a lovely stay we had here! The host and owner are one of the friendliest people we have met. Always in for a nice conversation and really being there for you as a guest! The rooms were really good, clean and the facilities were perfect. The accomadation has a great garden and seating area where you can relax and have some time off. Location was perfect, right at the beach and restaurants for dinner. 10/10 would recommend!
