“Amazing cleaned and spacious rooms with direct enter to the swimming pool, 3 min walk to the amazing beach or a few min”

The rooms were luxurious, the AC was working well, the equipment was good including small fridge and kettle for tea making etc. the room was spacious with direct entrance to the green outside. The hotel surroundings was relaxing and welcoming to chill. We enjoyed the swimming pool a lot too. There was a side entert to a beach, where was great restaurant . We liked the beach, too. In September it was rather empty and quite cleaned. There were many small restaurants around the hotel, too. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was really lovely. The pool was absolutely gigantic. Part of it was still under construction. The breakfasts were very good. And the hotel is a 5-minute walk to Uppuveli Beach, which is a very nice beach. Along the way, you'll find Fernando's Market, a nice place to grab any kind of food after a nice swim. I recommend the Rice and Curry restaurant, which is almost opposite the hotel. The food is good, and the staff is friendly.

“Underwhelming and expensive”

Located close to the beaches of trincomalee and next to plenty good restaurants and bars. Easy to move around. The swimming pool, which we did not use, was huge and nice.

This place is amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are fantastic and the gardens and pool are well maintained. The location is brilliant , near to restaurants and beach. Definitely recommend this place.

“Lovely friendly hotel with a large pool close to the beach.”

The hotel was so friendly and calm nothing was too much trouble and if they didn’t have it they would get it. The hotel has lots of animals rabbits, peacock, turkey and chickens all keep you company while sunbathing round the pool. They also have a natural pond that attracts many creatures and birds. Lovely to wake up to birdsong in the morning. It’s a short walk through the walkway to the beach and Fernandos bar and selection of restaurants.

Staff and hotel grounds were nice. Walking distance to beach and right in the heart of lots of restaurants. Huge pool.

“Amazing”

We traveled as a family of 4, children age 5 and 10. We had the most wonderful stay at Lucky Beach Resort. We enjoyed the pool at the hotel as well as the white sandy beach only a few minutes walk from the resort. The staff and the manager were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay hospitable. The kitchen chef is very skilled and we had amazing dinner and breakfast of choice. The Resort is also surrounded by numerous restaurants with great seafood choices and the best mango smoothies. We went on a boat trip of whale and dolphin watching and also snorkelling at Pigeon island national park via the tour agency at the Lucky Beach Resort. It was absolutely an amazing experience and a must activity when in Trincomalee. We look forward to our next stay at Lucky Beach Resort when in Trincomalee.

“Located close to beach, let down by uncomfortable mattreses, a dirty pool and a building site!”

Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. Breakfast was OK. Located reasonably close to the beach.

This plac was great and it is getting renovated further. Lovelt staff went our of their ay to be so helpful, including going out to get me special food for my breakfast. There is a beautiful pool, gardenwith birds, the rooms were very large and clean (just didn't have a tv and tea/coffee but I think that can be arranged) and a short walk to the beach.

“Good location for beach and restaurants”

The room was big and modern with a good bathroom with quality towels. The pool was huge with adequate sunbeds. Breakfast was massive with a fruit plate, fresh juice and a large plate of cooked food (eggs, sausages, potatoes and vegetables with fried chicken or prawns) as well as good toast. There was a fridge and kettle but we had to ask for cups.

“REALLY ENJOYABLE PLACE IN TRINCOMALEE”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the staffs are very kind and helpful with everything you needed. The pool was maintained neatly and the beach is just a 5 minute walk away.

It had a nice shower and it was very close to the beach and bars and restaurants. Stuff was very kind and friendly. The beach and the sea were magnificent.

“Great hotel near beach”

The hotel has a great location, it has its own path to the beach, a clean beach with a cafe a 4-minute walk away. The hotel manager is very hospitable, the staff is good, they try to help with all questions. Our room was decorated for our arrival on the occasion of our honeymoon. The staff helped us change money, navigated where there were good shops, and prepared breakfast for ourselves before we left for the airport. The hotel area is very green, chickens and rabbits are walking around, it’s so cute. There is hot water with good pressure! The air conditioner and fan work great. Freshly renovated, clean and working plumbing

“Great”

Stayed at the end of rainy season so it was amazing value for money. Only a handful of other guests were present so the pool was almost empty most of the time. Also close to the beach.
