Comfortable bed, good pool and breakfast was lovely. Staff were very nice, welcomed us with fruit juice. Hotel sorted activity of dolphin watching for us.

Staff were very attentive and gave good suggestions. Gave us Sri Lankan breakfast when we asked instead of continental. Good peaceful location and quiet, fairly close to the beach and other restaurants.

Top marks to all of the staff who were just lovely., no request was too much. Hotel was kept clean and tidy all of the time. Breakfast requests were catered for, it was a bit noisy with the crows at all hours of the day.

Staff were always available and very welcoming. Pool was great with just a short walk to the beach. Cafe's, bars and restaurants close by.

If temple visit is the main aim, then the location of this villa seems a bit away and we found better options, in terms of cost, ambience and experience, closer to the temple upon visiting the place. Staff were warm but when they had to handle issues we encountered, we saw some long faces.

The highlight was definitely the staff - they were really helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great - a lot of different things and the accommodation was (in our experience since we were travelling a little bit on a budget) really nice - with a/c, good bathroom, the highlight was also the pool.

“Super friendly staff facilities a let down”

Staff really friendly and super helpful but the resort is dated and not everything works properly. Air conditioning leaked, lights hanging off the walls, rooms safes not screwed down, towels had holes on them , some days it you got hot water others you didn’t.

“Great place to stay in Trincomalee”

The wonderful hotel staff because they were very nice, specially with my child, he loved them all. The shower had nice pressure and was warm enough, rooms were clean and ac was working perfectly. The location was quite close to the beach and restaurants. If I was coming again to Trincomalee I would repeat in this place.

We were really scared after our experience we had before we went to this hotel, but nothing to worry about. The staff were one of the better ones we had in the hotels during our trip, Thuray and the other staff have been more then amazing, they made sure we were care free. Because of joint issues a good bed is necassary for me, something you don't find in all the hotels, but of all the hotels during the trip, this hotel had the best bed. The hotel was clean and i felt treated like a queen, nothing seem to much, even though they work crazy hours and days, we have been served with a smile on their faces. The hotel has basic rooms, but everything you need. Definitely recommend this hotel

“Staff and location were fantastic”

Staff were great, super friendly and helpful. Location was also fab as can easily get down to fernandos easily which offers a wide range of food and drinks or you can walk down the beach to other places to eat and drink which are lovely at nighttime. We hired a scooter through the hotel and this was super easy and affordable to do and allowed us to go and explore further away. Aircon was effective and cooled the room down really well. We had 2 balconies, one by the front door which overlooked the pool and was beautiful when dark because of all the lights and the back balcony was really handy for drying clothes off. Bathroom was a good size and had the option for a cold or hot shower. Had a small shampoo and shower gel bottle left as well as a hand soap. Bed linen was clean and the fridge was working and cold. At night time they locked the gates and had someone there to let us in when we came back which made it feel quite safe. Breakfast included freshly made omelette and a fresh juice as well as other local staples and toast etc. Staff were always very attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

“Great location for enjoying some time at Uppuveli beach”

The staff were very helpful and friendly, allowing us into our room early. The room we chose was also a good size. The location was a short walk to a lovely beach. The Sri Lankan breakfast was great with good portion sizes.

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Location - take the night trian from Colombo to Trincomalee (from 11 Eur - 1st class) walking distance from the hotel to the sea, alot of seaactivities in the area. Food is excelent, fresh seafood daily. Easy with transport to town centre.
