“Excellent hidden gem close to beach”

The accommodation is an amazingly beautiful, spotlessly clean, peaceful oasis with nurtured gardens.The host Suba is an excellent friendly host who speaks English well and cooks beautiful breakfasts. The accommodation is very relaxing. The beds were super comfy, and the sheets were very soft. The beach is beautiful, very clean and sand entry to the sea with a great choice of restaurants close by. We extended our stay and will return and recommend it to our friends and family.

Amazing, colorful house with perfect garden for chilling and the host is just sweet. I loved to talk with him. He also prepared delicious breakfast!

“Great cozy room with good AC”

As we learned the property is quite new, but it is just so nice. We had a room with very comfy bed, good quality AC and a fan. The host was always avaliable and helped us with everything we needed. He even arranged a scuter for rent so we could explore the Trincomalee. When you enter the front of the building it is like you enterd the small paradise with all the plants and always mantained sandy ground. The host is taking good care of the property and really make an effort to accommodate guests the best he can.

“Little oasis”

A little oasis Tucked away just from the road, Hena holiday villa is the perfect location for a relaxing stay in Trincomalee. We booked an AC room with private bathroom. The room was lovely, The perfect size for all our luggage (we didn’t travel light) The accommodation was very clean. The Host Suba was one of the kindest people we met in Sri Lanka, so welcoming and always available for requests/ advice. He helped us plan and book a whale / dolphin watching trip and a pigeon island snorkelling trip (which was one of the highlights of our entire holiday) As mentioned the location is ideal just a few minutes walk to the beach super close to lots of lovely cafes and restaurants and super easy to hop in a Tuktuk to explore Trincomalee. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer, we would absolutely love to stay here again and hope to in the future. Side note: if you have an interest in history the Trincomalee war cemetery is a short walk away. Please visit and sign the visitor book. We met Mr Raja the head gardener who works so hard and is so proud of this beautiful garden / cemetery.

“Great place to stay near beach”

The owner is such a lovely man, very friendly and very helpful. We chatted everytime we saw each other. He keeps the place very clean and maintains a very beautiful garden full of plants. The room was bg and the bathroom too. The bed was comfy and I would have no problem staying there again.

Great location short walk from the beach. Clean room. Lovely helpful family. Appreciated the daily complimentary water bottle. Overall great stay :)

“Great Villa, Great Position, Awesome Host”

The villa is colorful and cozy, very close to Uppuveli Beach. We enjoyed a lot our stay, thanks to nice air conditioned room and perfect position to explore the area. On top of everything the host is AMAZING - he's not only a great guy and a really good person but he literally did everything and even more to guarantee us a lovely stay and a wonderful holiday, could not thank him enough for that!

I fully recommend this place. The location is perfect, close by the beautiful and lively Uppuveli beach. We appreciated the warm welcome and the colored bedroom.

Great location, very close to the beach and staff were excellent

The owner is very hospitable and we had a very nice time in Hema Holiday Villa. He helped us to organize some of our days. The place is close to the ocean and there are many restaurants and bars very close so you dont need a vehicle at all. On our 3 night stay we went out every evening. During the day you can do many activities like a boat and snorkeling tour, visiting temples or walking at the beach. For people who like to do yoga in a group there are sessions every morning. I recommend this place and I am happy for the good memories in Trincomalee and the people there.

Room was clean and cozy - a little small, but quite enough for us. Our room had no window, but AC. The location was perfect for chilled days at the beach. Only a few minutes by walk to Fernandos Beach Market. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

A super lovely and cheerful host who got us juices and water every day and even cooked for us for free! Suba introduced us to Hindu culture and recommended us great things to do and places to eat without trying to sell us something which we hadn’t experienced in our stays before. The rooms was clean and had everything we needed. The location is a 5min walk from the beach.

Hema Holiday Villa’s host, Suba, is such a kind and friendly person. He made sure we had the most wonderful stay. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows and linen feel very luxurious. It’s a short walk to the beach and all the restaurants, but nice and quiet for sleeping. We weren’t getting picked up until late in the afternoon to go to our next destination, and Suba was so kind to offer us to use the bathroom and shower after our day at the beach so that we would be comfortable for our car ride. Thank you for having us and for your wonderful hospitality!

The owner ans his Son made us feel very welcome! We ve learned about the hindu religion as well as sri lankan history while enjoying the perfect location within 5 minutes to the beach. The rooms were pretty clean as well!
