Staying at this guest house felt like being at home. The space is filled with warmth, love, and the gentle presence of the animals the owner cares for so deeply — especially the affectionate cats who made every moment even more comforting. What made the stay truly special was the time spent with the owner. We shared a lovely evening chatting, surrounded by cats and a peaceful atmosphere that made everything feel easy and genuine. It’s more than just a place to stay — it’s a place where you feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease.

Dream place for cat & dog lovers - and also much more than that. Prasha is an amazing guy. He keeps this beautiful guesthouse but most importantly takes care of hundreds of animals in the forests of Trinco. He's not just a pet lover - he loves all of the animals equally and has dedicated his whole life to these animals. You can see the love he puts into his work in the guesthouse: its not just a guesthouse, its also a sanctuary. I can’t thank him enough for the chance to get to know Prasha and experience his beautiful place. It is truly one of the most unique and meaningful places I have ever stayed — from the very first moment, it felt less like arriving somewhere new and more like visiting a dear friend you’ve known for years. Other than that, the guesthouse is really filled with love. There are four dogs and +20 cats with many kittens (Say hi to Lumi!❄️) His mother has a wonderful kitchen that is open during the season time and his wife is the friendliest person. The rooms are the best we have had in Sri Lanka: aircon, hot water, seperate blankets, FREE FILTERED WATER! Coffee and fridge you can use (in common area). If you love cats and dogs - please go and spend time with them. They all love to play and overall its just the best place to stay in Trinco area. Alles Ga for Pet Lovers offers clean comfortable rooms in a good location, but as the name suggests there is more. Prasanth does what he can to look after the huge amount of stray cats and dogs around Trincomalee. We loved having such a thoughtful caring host and sharing the company of his animals during our stay. There is also a water filter to save on plastic at no cost to guests which is something we hadn’t experienced in Sri Lanka. We were close to beach and food but really we just wanted to hang out with the animals. Thank you Prasanth, we thoroughly recommend this stay as a way of supporting a much needed service and has been changed our Sri Lankan experience for the better.

An absolute must if you love animals! Especially cats. There are so many that need love and cuddles and are all very affectionate! Put your money towards a good cause as so many animals are not as lucky in the area. Beds are comfortable, hot water showers. Tea coffee and filtered water available. Friendly man who runs the place. Plenty of restaurants to eat nearby and beach walking distance.

“Perfect stay, if you care about animals stay here and help the host make a change!”

The sweetest host, who cares deeply about the animals and the environment. With the money he gets he feeds more thank 20cats and 8 dogs he has at home and besides that more than 50 in the woods, that people throw there to die. He works and lives with sole purpuse he feeds and helps the animals. The most genuine, sweet and caring host we had. The location is also perfect, 5minute walk to the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and although no breakfast is provided there is always an option to go to the next building to Mom’s kitchen, that is run by the hosts mother and they have excellent food (for breakfast, lunch or dinner).

Such a wonderful place to stay! Close to the beach and restaurants, very relaxing and rooms have everything you need. Prashanth is a lovely host who truly cares about the welfare of all animals, and the cats and dogs are super friendly - if you are an animal lover this is definitely for you! Make sure to try out Mom’s kitchen next door too, absolutely beautiful Sri Lankan food. If you stay here, please give Sisu some pats for me, he’s the sweetest little cat and I miss him!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The place is full of pets, so it is more suitable for pets lovers. The restaurant nearby is great and really worth cost.

The place is really nice and welcoming. The room had everything we needed, but what made our stay so special and unforgettable have been Preshnth and his dogs and cats. We can just recommend it 😀

Prasanth is the most adorable pet lover on earth ❤️the rooms are basic but clean . You can fill your water bottle for free and there is a cute terrace to sit and enjoy a drink ( or two 🤣) together . If you love cats and dogs , dont hesitate to go there and witness what an amazing job Prasanth is doing for Street animals , you cant ignore his passion Keep up the good work and be well Love ❤️🐕😻

We stayed 3 nights. The host was welcoming and the accomodation was great. Unique experience to stay at this pet sanctuary and see the love given to the animals. The location is great for tourists. Walking distance to the beach, food and ATM.

Actually no words for this stay but I'll try my best. Concept: 21 cats. EPIC. 3 rooms available. Owner with a mission. Superfriendly man, he even joins in the evening for a drink and a chat, fixes everything for a snorkling trip. The world would be a safer place if we had more stays / people like this gem. Be sure to go eat at Mom's kitchen, it's all in the name and it's his mom. :)

The sweetest owner Prashanth who cares for the animals and offcourse all the lovely animals who are enjoying a good life with Prashanth. Even though there are a lot of animals its very clean. It’s near the Beach and a lot of Nice spots and nextdoor at ‘Mom’s Kitchen’ you can enjoy tastefull Srilankan food for a very good price.
