The countryside setting was beautiful and the hosts were absolutely wonderful, doing their best to ensure our stay was comfortable. The decor of the lodge was stunning and the breakfast was delicious and local.

Everything was beautiful and perfectly harmonious—simple, elegant, and thoughtfully curated. The love and care shone through in every single detail, from the delicious homemade breakfast to the genuine warmth of the people running the place.

Our stay was superb: Authentic hospitality! Paola and Francesco offer an incomparable attention to their guests. We had a chance to spend some of our days in Apulia in different masserie and none was like Masseria Uccio. Facilities are amazing. Paola and Francesco take care of every detail, they are always present and at the same time they do not invading your privacy. The breakfast was delicious, freshly homemade with local food, and varied every day. We also had the chance to recharge our car by using their solar-powered charging point.

Masseria Uccio is a tranquil oasis 5 mins from Tricase This is eco tourism at its best, a natural rural location run by a truly lovely couple who go the extra mile to ensure a great stay We loved our time there and can’t wait to go back!

We spent two wonderful weeks at Masseria Uccio, hosted by the warm and welcoming couple Paola and Francesco. Our room was spacious with high ceilings, a super comfortable bed, and excellent air conditioning—much appreciated during the hotter days when we chose to stay in for a few hours rather than head to the nearby beaches. Each morning, we were treated to a superb breakfast featuring homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit, eggs, a variety of delicious cakes, fresh bread, cereals, and seasonal tomatoes with frisa, a staple of Pugliese cuisine. Everything was lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. Tables were exquisitely set with locally woven linen, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. Paola and Francesco struck the perfect balance between offering warm hospitality and respecting guests’ independence. They were always happy to have a friendly chat or share thoughtful recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and places to visit. Guests were also welcome to use the breakfast area, plates, and cutlery for lunch or dinner, which was a lovely option on days we preferred to dine in. A barbecue and several shaded outdoor seating areas added to the relaxed charm of the Masseria—perfect for a quiet drink or leisurely meal. We loved our stay and knew early on that we’d be hard-pressed to find another place as special.

Charm of remodeled farm house. Beautiful and tasteful decor with surprising elements of Salento luminaires. Wi-Fi worked wonderfully. Bed comfortable. Located in the country not to far from city center. Buffet breakfast very generous and full of local in-season produce and homemade cakes and jams.

A fabulous set of buildings all beautifully renovated in a country environment but close to Tricase. A fabulous room, very comfortable with high ceilings. The courtyard and the BBQ space are fabulous places to have a sundowner before setting off into town. The breakfast is fabulous, especially the homemade cakes and the hosts are really helpful, informative and charming

The rooms are spacious, clean and situated on a beautiful hill overlooking Tricase, with restaurants and beaches close by. We started the day with delicious breakfast (the homemade pastries from Poala are superb!) and always came home in a fresh room with clean towels and linnen. Fransesco provided us with all the relevant information and we enjoyed five traitorrias he recommended. We initially booked for six nights, but we extended our stay with an additional three nights and that still was not enough! Don’t hesitate, just book!

The hosts are great, they were super helpful, had many tips and extremely friendly. The breakfast was outstanding with homemade cakes and every day new selection. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations.
