“Disappointing stay: hidden fees, restrictions and lack of privacy.”

Our recent stay at this property was unfortunately quite disappointing due to several key issues that were not disclosed beforehand. Firstly, we were surprised to discover that the swimming pool, tennis court, and other facilities are all shared with other guests on the property. Nowhere in the listing was it mentioned that the property includes two other rental houses, in addition to the house where the owner lives with her family. This lack of privacy was a significant letdown, as we were expecting a more exclusive experience. We were also disappointed to find out that the hot tub comes with an additional charge of 15 EUR per hour, a detail that was only communicated to us after we had already used it. This unexpected fee felt quite misleading. Additionally, we were informed that we could not use the swimming pool after 22:00. While we would understand such a restriction at a hotel, we had assumed that renting the property for ourselves would allow us unrestricted access to the pool. This limitation further diminished our enjoyment of the facilities. The atmosphere during our stay was also affected by the owner's presence. While we were playing on the tennis court, the owner watched us closely, which made us feel uncomfortable and eventually led us to stop playing. This level of supervision was far from what we had anticipated for a private holiday. There were also some strict and, in our view, unreasonable rules. For instance, when we accidentally threw a ball over to the neighbor's property, we were forbidden from retrieving it and were instead required to pay for a new ball. This seemed unnecessarily harsh. On top of that, basic amenities were lacking. For example, even with a group of ten people, we were not provided with an adequate supply of toilet paper and were forced to purchase it ourselves. We were also told that we had to buy our own plastic bags for the bins, which, given the price of the property, was both surprising and disappointing.
