Beautiful area in the middle of the countryside. Handy shops 5 minutes drive away but is tucked away. The host is friendly and experienced and we were able to travel around to see the sites. The local town can get quite busy but we went off-season so traffic was good and there were fewer tourists. Great wildlife with red squirrels and storks in the local parks with lots of forest walks, streams and waterfalls nearby The host is a wood carver with a shop in the nearby town with a selection of fantastic wood carvings - including religious artefacts and animals. Lots of choices for souvenirs and presents for family at home.

Very nice location . There was no need to travel anywhere . Enjoy the stay and walk around the hills.
