“A stop in a dream”

This was the cherry on the top to our costa rica experience.... a stay in heaven.... the landscape and views are just breathtaking and they treat you like gods and goddesses.... so pleased we took a slight detour to come here.... it really was like abiding in the most serene healing abode.

The breakfast was very good. Fresh fruit was delicious and very welcome addition to our orders which were taken the evening before to be prepared ready for the morning, which was very helpful considering we had an early morning start for white water rafting on the following morning of our first night. The staff running the venue could not be more helpful and generous with the time and knowledge.

“Comfortable stay in the mountains :)”

This really is a very special place run by very special people, we were totally immersed in nature here and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The food was excellent, all freshly prepared and delicious. Our little room was clean and comfortable. What more can I say, we had a lovely time and if we are ever in the area again we would definitely choose to stay at this lodge.

Placed on top of a mountain with magic views. Super kind staff. The rooms are bit basic but fulfilled their purpose. Had hummingbirds just out of the cottage. Tricky road to the top, but managble. Best for relaxing and just chill

“Great Lodge in an incredible location with a marvelous view”

Marjorie and the owner were very nice and helpful. We had a wonderful last day in Costa Rica, even though it rained. The location of the lodge is fantastic and you have a wonderful view of the mountains. The last 4 km to the lodge are on a gravel road. However, it can be done with a normal car, it just takes a little longer. We say thank you 😊

“Beautiful location with authentic and very warm Costa Rican welcome”

A perfect stop over between Pura Vida Ecolodge and Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean side. We were met with open arms and warm smiles and were incredibly well looked after throughout our short stay. It genuinely felt like we were at home... Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and a really beautiful set up, stunning views, wonderfully kept gardens and basic but comfortable cabins. They even managed to make some tweaks in the kitchen in order to offer us a super tasty vegan evening meal and very yummy breakfast. Gracias Antonio y amigos, we'll be back and for longer next time - seems like there is SO much to explore in the area!

“Stay near Pacuare river”

The location is simply stunning. The people running the hotel were wonderful and so helpful. They made our stay most enjoyable. The hotel organised white water rafting and horse riding for us which were very good. Breakfast was really good and the dinner was tasty.

Stunning location with unbelievable view, very tranquil and peaceful, very friendly owners, great breakfast! Need at least an SUV to get to it as around 3km up an unmade rocky road, but well worth the slow drive, as the views are amazing! Quite good wifi as well! Would happily stay there again!

We liked the private outside jacuzzi bathtub very much. The well maintained garden with it's countless flowers and bushes is a huge joy. Breakfast was ok, local style. You are really out in the nature here!

The lodge is in an absolutely incredible location, you're on top of a hill surrounded on all sides by mountains and forest, it truly is spectacular. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the cabins are comfortable and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and made our stay really special. We loved our nights here and wouldn't hesitate to come back.
