Our stay was truly fantastic! The accommodation was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described, and the location was ideal with everything we needed close by. What really made the experience exceptional, however, was the host—kind, highly responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even proactively assisting us with everything we needed, such as booking authentic local restaurants for us.

Helpful host, clean, well equipped room. Good base to explore Etna and Eastern Sicily. Bonus: Fantastic shower head and water pressure. Enjoyed having self-catering option and table to sit at outside and inside. Vineyards in surrounding area.

The apartament is situated in a remote area, far away from any disturbing city noises so you can have an amazingly good night’s sleep. Giovanni was an excellent host, welcomed us with great warmth and helped us with everything we needed.

Very nice and cosy apartment with quiet surroundings under Mt Etna. No annoying neighbors or traffic, only peace and serenity. Very nice and friendly host with a lovely family, always available on the phone in case you need anything. Was very helpful during our stay, helped us with suggestions and reservations for dinners in good restaurants, you can also get some help at organizing trip to Mt Etna. In the kitchen there is all the equipment needed. We also got a bottle of wine as a welcome gift, which we thought was really nice.

The host, Giovanni, is very helpful. He provides information on things to see or visit in the area. Furthermore he helps you find and book a reservation at some great local restaurants you would never find as a tourist. He really makes sure you have everything you need to make the most out of your vacation.

“Comfortable place to relax in close distance to Catania and Mt. Etna”

The landlord and his family who live right next door are very keen to show their homeland to the guests. Daily recommendations for restaurants, activities, places to visit etc. were included. Thank you for enabling us this beautiful time in Sicily:)

Lovely host and family and great location. Giovanni was available to give plenty of local knowledge.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was super comfortable, the service of our host was great with an uncomplicated check-in, even though we arrived pretty late. The apartment was well equipped, even coffee was available for free. Especially the location close to the south entrance of mount Etna was amazing, which is perfect if you're planning on hiking up the mountain on your own (which is totally doable). We would definitely stay there again :)

“Wonderful”

Going up to Appartamento Etna, you will find Giovanni, who will welcome you and show the well organized apartment with everything you need. For us, having coffee available was great, and the outside table made us enjoy it in the morning. For the rest, the pictures speak for themselves. What gives an extra plus to this location are the tips and tricks from Giovanni, who give local recommendations and make you feel like you are visiting a friend 😄 Will come back someday and definitely recommend for anyone visiting east half of Sicily.

The location of the house is perfect . We even got to see etna erupting with a perfect view from one of the side streets.

“Amazing host and facilities”

Giovanni was exceptional in all aspects of his hosting. He couldn't do enough for us to ensure our trip ran smoothly. He helped to organise us a rental car to ensure we could get around the area as it is quite remote (and absolutely stunning) and he even picked us up and dropped us off to ensure we got the car which really shows he goes above and beyond. Giovanni even took us for some traditional and tasty aranchini when we first arrived. Amazing. He helped us to organise a takeaway from a local restaurant, which again was delicious. We arrived in the apartment to a lovely, local bottle of wine and a clean, modern apartment that felt like a second home. It is located at the end of a quiet road and close to the drive up to Mount Etna. Giovanni gave us vouchers to use the cable cars and the restaurant at the top of Etna. Giovanni ensured we had an amazing trip from start to finish and we cannot recommend staying here enough. We hope to be back soon.
