It was lovely and peaceful - our room was gorgeous and the balcony the perfect place to chill from - the staff were really friendly and had an excellent playlist - great holiday feel and only a few minutes walk to all the sights - food was really good including breakfast - no complaints at all

Breakfast is not served before 10 am. More a restaurant than a hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant, but the food was not as good as the food we got elsewhere in Moldavia.

“Beautiful, friendly, delicious food”

I am really glad I came to stay here. It really makes sense to stay the night in Butuceni and enjoy a relaxed evening here. Vila Etnica has a great bar, is directly opposite a path to the monastery and has a wonderful restaurant with the best food I had in Moldova so far. It was lovely to be able to have dinner outside on a late summer afternoon, watch the late fading over the hills on my balcony, and wake up to birdsong for breakfast. The staff are great and really helped me with my transport questions.

We liked the location and the traditional style of the property surrounded by nature. The breakfast was also good and the host very nice.

We really liked how spacious the property is. The outdoor area is great and we loved that is near the river. Supper and breakfast was delicious.

We came to Vila Etnica the second time because we really wanted to experience the dinner by the fireplace one more time, but unfortunately, they did not lit the fire, although we kindly asked. All the rest was all right, the room nice and clean, the facilities working well, the surroundings are really great there!

The villa and the surroundings are marvelous; the reception lady was really nice; the restaurant cosy with delicious food and helpful staff; the room was spacious and comfortable, decorated in an authentic medieval style 😁 with a big, modern bathroom where everything worked perfectly fine! We would like to come back to this magical place one day!
