The folks working there were all absolutely wonderful. Loved the location! We spent a gorgeous evening watching the sunset on the balcony overlooking the water. The hotel is simple and looks like it has been in the spot for a while - now it’s getting modernized bit by bit with thoughtful touches and we really enjoyed it.

Reception/staff v welcoming, friendly and helpful. Loved the “honesty-bar” plus an appreciated lack of signage telling you what to/not to do ie treated like an adult. Well-appointed with comfortable lounge and space to dine in the evening (as the hotel is a 30-min walk to town, you rely on available ready meals to purchase and heat in the microwave). Hotel close to a wonderful oyster farm where you can take-away shucked oysters or eat-on-site with a delicious glass of wine. Wonderful sea views from first floor rooms.

we had a big room with our own terrace from which we could view the sea - simply perfect. They also have a really big "living room" for guests where you can also look out onto the sea. The location is amazing and the staff were super friendly. great breakfast.

it’s location ideal for walking and cycling. ideally located for the numerous outstanding beaches in the local area! the hotel was quiet and welcoming.
