Overview
Located in Trobovlje, in central Slovenia, Youth Hostel Trbovlje features free Wi-Fi and parking, free bikes guests can use and a spacious garden. Modernly furnished and with unique design, this hostel features a lounge area with a TV, and a cafe with an outdoor covered terrace. Rooms feature modern design and offer a seating area, individual lockers, complimentary bedlinen and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. A shared kitchen is at guests’ disposal, as well as a media room that transforms into a night club. Nearest grocery store can be reached in a 2-minute walk, while various restaurants can be found in the surroundings. A fresh fruit market is just a couple of steps away. Breakfast can be enjoyed at the hostel, for an additional cost. A cultural centre with a cinema and a theatre is located just next to the hostel. Horseback riding can be arranged upon request, while tennis courts, saunas and massage therapies can be found 500 metres from Youth Hostel Trbovlje. Hiking tracks can be found all around the area, while rafting trips on Sava River can be arranged by the staff. Local buses stop right in front of the hostel. Train Station can be found 4 km away, while Ljubljana Airport is 60 km away.

“The website stated that a crib for infants would be provided. While we did receive one, it was broken and had an unpleas”
The only positive experience during our stay was the young woman who helped us. She was the only staff member who showed kindness and humanity. Thanks to her, we were able to enter the room at 13:30, and she truly saved the situation. Unfortunately, I do not know her name, but she deserves recognition for her professionalism and warm attitude.

“A night in Trbovlje”
Great little hostel located in the centre of town. No problems with parking (free) or check-in. Helpful staff, fluent English spoken. The room is basic but spacious and clean. No TV, but wifi works fine. You can use the kitchen, including a fridge, a microwave and a kettle. Perfect for one night.

“relaxed stay.”
Stayed in a 2 bed room. It was big, clean with bathroom. Quiet. Kitchen is well equiped. Bakery and supermarkt closeby. Friendly people at the reception/bar.
