Very friendly and great place to stay

“Wonderful oasis”

Wonderful oasis close to a beautiful beach. George is a gracious host, always helpful and welcoming. The place is just stunning, perfectly maintenaned and ideal for a relaxing holiday. You can reach the beautiful beach by foot (10 minutes) - a less crowded and not so touristy beach compared to the ones more north. I would really recommend this place.

Great place with nice architecture - The area Brufut is so much nicer than the other beach towns in Senegambia, great value for money and a very nice spacious apartment

“Lovely self contained accommodation and very restful”

The location was a little hard to find, but the whole place was very well kept and attractive. The accommodation had a separate bedroom. A lovely pool and it's own bar & restaurant. Local shops approx 10 min walk away. Host very friendly and helpful.

Great hosts!

Hotel located in a lovely area just 10mins far from the crowdy senegambia area and few steps away by a long wonderful beach. The apartments are wide, there is also a kitchen with all the main need such a kettle for a quick cup of coffee or tea. Bedrooms are quiet and the bathroom has everything needed. A nice pool in the middle of the hotel area to rest once in a while.

George and Lydie are such wonderful hosts. The pool was in perfect condition and well maintained every morning. The free cot and use of the restaurant high chair made our holiday so much more comfortable.

We spent four nights here. George and Lydie are great, they are true to their motto of enjoying welcoming their guests and being low key. They made us feel very relaxed and at home with their open and friendly manner. They showed us their favourite restaurants and told us a lot about their experiences of the country and its people. Thank you both very much for your open hearts. We really felt safe and at home in the apartment, the bed was great and we loved the pool :-) The staff were very helpful and friendly and the driver they work with is a real gem. He accompanied us on several trips and was interesting, polite, professional and could tell us a lot about his country. A big thank you to you, Fabakary. You made our stay very special. We can warmly recommend staying here.

I could not appreciate more the warm welcome of the owner and all the staff, and their dedication to the well being of their customers. My plane to Banjul got delayed by 6 hours but their very kind driver Fabakary still waited for me to land.. at 3+ AM! They are genuinely kind hearted people who will not let you down in any circumstance! The place lives up to its name, Dulaa Deema, which means “nice place” in Mandinka. In fact, the residence is VERY nice, in addition to being clean and quiet. Friendly, homely and family atmosphere that you won’t regret for sure! Can only highly recommend

Spacious apartment in a beautiful setting with swimming pool and multitude of palm and other exotic trees. Little shops and beaches at short walking distances.

“Just perfect”

You could not expect more from a seaside residence. The room (or I should say apartment) was quite big with ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and small fridge. Very comfortable. The grounds of the residence are great - there's a nice swimming pool. You also have a place to sit in the evening outside of your room. Location is not far from the beach and 5 minutes from the Coastal Road where you can find some shops with foods, drinks etc. The hosts (and their dogs) are lovely. For the beach head to Joyehto Bar - it's the best place in the surroundings.

Everything was amazing. The Dutch lady ( a neighbour) was very welcoming and helpful. All staff was friendly and took good care of us. Our room was spacious and clean. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. Overall the hotel is beautiful and we will definitely be back.

The pool area and staff was fantastic.Felt safe nice and relaxing .We had 3 fabulous weeks here we will return for sure .

Absolutely beautiful compound with a great swimming pool and nature. The communication with the owner was perfect. The rooms were nice and clean, with room service coming every morning. It was a really great stay here. I couldn't recommend it more.
