“Heaven in the hills”

Everything. It was such a lucky find and that there was a vacancy. It is beautiful with exceptionally friendly warm and welcoming staff and great amenities and facilities stylishly and comfortably provided in the room - with balcony - with its own Japanese style wooden tub and water supply that we spent a very happy afternoon in, listening to the birds and watching the landscape. And drinking the complementary sparkling wine and thai afternoon tea snacks.Wonderful. We took advantage of room service for dinner which was lovely and we ate on the balcony enjoying the night. An incredibly special place. Breakfast, taken in the restaurant was generous and delicious too. Although we had a car, it wasn't an issue as there were activities and things to do on site - including simply enjoying your space and it's views. A place to really wind down if you need to

“Exeptional”

Beautiful, calm setting in the jungle. Very peaceful villa apartments, and the staff were absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend staying here if you're travelling to Trang. Very easy to get to from the airport as well

“Unique experience”

Lovely, unique property just outside Trang. We stayed in a tent and it was very comfortable. The dining area is lovely, great for sunset drinks and then dinner, real value for money. Cycled to the local waterfall, borrowing their bikes. They need a little maintenance as the gears didn’t work and made the cycle difficult up the hills.

Too, best bed i have ever slept on, the glass houses are just dream, food was nice, stuff perfect I was compleatley amazed by this place! Paradise in the jungle :)

The layout of the room and the facilities within the room were excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. We ate in at night and the whole meal was first class. The resolrt is set in a beautiful peaceful location.

Absolutely amazing place. The location, the staff, flawless service. Pompem treated us amazingly, and we thoroughly enjoyed the explorer tent, the chairs at the river, and the surrounding jungle and waterfalls. Truly one of the most special places we’ve been to in Thailand.

The resort was in complete harmony with the nature. Panoramic view of the river and mountains. Great garden and all staff super friendly.

The stay at the resort was just magical. The experience was wonderful from the very first minute to the last. The area and the view from our tented house was just breathtaking. We stayed at the Explorer Tent and it was beautiful, just as the whole resort is. There were some animals at the resort, which made the atmosphere feel rustic and peaceful. The food was incredible. Everything we ate or drank was absolutely delicious. The staff went above their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The area around the resort is quiet and lovely. Overall, the stay exceeded our expectations by far.

We had such a lovely stay at Kachong Hills Resort and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the very start, everything felt warm and personal. The service was so thoughtful, and you can really feel that the entire staff genuinely cares about you and making your stay perfect. Our private pool room was a highlight. Quiet, comfortable, and tucked into nature - waking up to birds, greenery, and complete calm was exactly what we were looking for. The resort itself is beautifully maintained and blends so naturally into its surroundings. One of the most special experiences for us was the private tour to Kradang island that the resort arranged for us. It was perfectly organised and felt relaxed, not rushed or touristy at all. Just a really memorable day. What really sets Kachong Hills apart is the setting. It’s right in the middle of nature, next to a national park, a waterfall nearby, and a sense of peace you don’t find easily. The café deserves its own mention. Great local South Thailand / Trang dishes, refreshing drinks (perfect in the heat), and genuinely good locally sourced coffee, we ended up spending a lot of time there just relaxing. Overall, Kachong Hills feels more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying at a resort. A special shout-out to Jenny, thank you for your kindness and for making our stay feel so special. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed in the jungle lodge it was stunning. The hotel staff made our Christmas so special with lots of unexpected extras. We truly had an outstanding experience at the resort.

The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious choices prepared with real attention to detail. Enjoying breakfast while taking in the breathtaking views from the restaurant was an experience in itself — peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable. My room view was absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere throughout the entire resort is calming and refreshing. Every detail inside the room — from the décor to the layout to the small thoughtful touches — was perfectly curated to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Kachonghills Tented Resort is one of those rare places where everything just feels right. The combination of exceptional hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and meticulous attention to detail makes it a stay you’ll remember. This hotel simply makes you feel good. Highly recommended!
