The accommodation exceeded my expectations: the bungalows and rooms are very large, exquisitely decorated, the common areas are comfortable, and the garden and two swimming pools made you feel as if you were surrounded by forest. The staff are highly professional, helpful and accommodating; the breakfast is very varied, with new dishes every day. The tea time offer was a bonus, as well as the transfer to the beaches and the Quadrado, no waiting time. You can also easily walk to the centre Stefano, the owner, is very cheerful and always at hand for any questions. Definitely, this was my best stay so far in Trancoso and in Bahia.

Excellent Pousada, we enjoyed the breakfast with plenty of choice. We appreciated the shuttle bus to and from the beaches/Quadrado. Owner and staff very friendly and polite. Thank you.

The hotel was beautiful. It has all the lovely Brazilian touches to it and the famous Brazilian welcome from all who work there. The breakfast was amazing with delicious juices and fresh fruit alongside sweet and savoury options. The walk to the Quadrado takes 10 minutes (max) and the hotel runs a great shuttle service to beaches and quadrado if you want it. We felt very well looked after and loved our trip.

Amazing House. It is in a gated community. Perfekt Place. The Hosts are great and are taking care of everthing. To get to the quadrado trancoso it is a 2 minute drive. The Beach is also a couple minutes away by Car. We will come back!

Beautiful room with private pool, very spacious and incredible bathroom. The breakfast was huge and lots of choice, in a gorgeous setting.

The facilities at the hotel including the gardens, two pools and room are clean and well-maintained. All staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is exceptional. Guests can choose from a buffet and also order freshly made tapioca and eggs. A couple of perks were not overly clear when we booked were the free transfers to the beach and the Quadrado, and the afternoon tea.

“A little slice of heaven”

The property is absolutely gorgeous. It’s truly a special place and having breakfast or laying by the pool with all the vegetation (and sometimes monkeys) around you is so incredible. It’s not a huge property so it never feels crowded and there’s a lot of privacy. It just has the most relaxing vibes. The free transfers to the quadrado and the beach work perfectly and are an amazing perk. Breakfast was always delicious and the girls working there were super friendly.

Our stay at SOLELUNA was great. The staff is very friendly, the reception stays open from the morning until very late, and they have transfers to the beach and to the "Quadrado"/Village center. Breakfast is amazing, full of tasty, traditional and regional options. The whole place is beautiful, the tropical garden fully integrated with all common areas of the hotel is astonishing. A must: the steam sauna, which is a glass box where you can relax and feel part of the nature! And the green pool (there are two pools) with warm water is very relaxing. Our room (number 10, if I'm not mistaken) was elegantly decorated and extremely cozy. Thank you, guys
