“Exceptional hotel with wonderful staff”
From the moment we arrived at Monkey Casa, the experience was exceptional, and that was largely thanks to the amazing and attentive staff. Guilherme was always on hand to help with everything from booking local excursions and taxis to offering fantastic recommendations that really helped us make the most of our stay. Vanessa provided an exceptional breakfast every morning and was so warm, friendly, and welcoming that we genuinely felt at home throughout our time there. Beyond the service, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with incredible attention to detail in every aspect of the design and atmosphere. It strikes the perfect balance between being attentive and offering guests plenty of privacy, which made the whole experience feel incredibly relaxed and personal. Of course, the true mark of any great hotel is a good night’s sleep, and I can honestly say the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in while travelling. The mattress was brilliant, and the quality of the bedding and sheets was outstanding. Monkey Casa is a brilliant hotel in every sense, and staying there genuinely enhanced our entire holiday. We would return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place and accommodation in Trancoso. Many thanks to Guilherme, who from the very beginning organized wonderful trips to the surrounding beaches (made reservations and provided transportation), gave us useful information for restaurants and events. Their kitchen is excellent, they prepare a delicious breakfast in front of you (tapioca, fresh fruit, fresh juices). Their garden exudes true relaxation, everything is impeccably clean! We would come back to Monkey Casa hotel again!

Monkey Casa is truly a home away from home. The house is really beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. (The pictures speak for themselves) Pedro and the girls made us feel very welcome and took such good care of us! The breakfast is amazing with fresh fruit, juices, freshly baked cake and of course tapioca pancakes. The location is also great, just 5min walking from the city center “el Cuadrado” and a short walk away from the beach. We would definitely come back any time and are always going to remember our stay at this special place! Muito Obrigado 💜
