The property itself is a masterpiece of authentic Brazilian architecture, with interiors that exude elegance and warmth. Surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, Casa Angatu feels like a private oasis, offering tranquillity and natural beauty at every turn. The rooms and bathrooms were impeccable, featuring thoughtful design touches and premium amenities. The beds were heavenly, with luxurious linens that made every night's sleep a dream. Whether you're part of a large group, as I was, or seeking a more intimate retreat, Casa Angatu strikes a perfect balance with cozy common areas for socialising and plenty of privacy when needed. A standout feature of our stay was the incredible service provided by Neia, the housekeeper, and Maria, the cook. They ensured we felt truly cared for, with Neia keeping everything spotless and Maria delighting us with her culinary skills. Their warm and attentive hospitality elevated our experience to another level. Casa Angatu is a place I won’t hesitate to recommend, and I’m already looking forward to my next stay. It’s a slice of paradise that perfectly captures the essence of Trancoso’s charm and hospitality.

Incredible place in the best possible location!

It was amazing time for us. Lunch and breakfast (option) were very delicious. It would be better to ask hire car or van to visit Trancoso.
