Overview
Offering private natural hot-spring baths, UTSUROI Tsuchiya Annex is 1 km from Kinosaki-Onsen Train Station. The Japanese rooms include futon beds and a flat-screen TV. An onsite cafe is available featuring a gallery for free. Each air-conditioned room at Ryokan Tsuchiya has tatami (woven-straw) flooring. All rooms have a tea maker and an en suite toilet. Bathrooms are shared. Kinosaki Onsen Ropeway Station is just 200 metres away. Kinosaki Museum is a 10-minute walk, and Kinosaki Marine Park is a 15-minute drive. Hot spring baths for private use can be used for free.

Staff were so friendly and happy. Owner speaks really good english. Room was nice and clean. Kinosakionsen is small town so all ryokans are close to the onsens but this place is family run so please book they are awesome.

Kazuki and his family at TSUCHIYA Kinosaki onsen was incredibly warm and welcoming. We were served lovely tea upon arrival in our beautiful room overlooking a river. Throughout the stay all the staff was very helpful and tended to all our needs. Kazuki gave very useful recommendations on restaurants in the city and we even received gifts upon checkout! Overall a fantastic experience - therefore our warmest recommendation if visiting Kinosaki onsen 🙏

A really nice family run hotel with private onsen. The owners are incredibly kind and the place is beautiful, modern and traditional at the same time and extremely clean. They give you the clothes and all the info for the onsen experience. They are also kind to drive you to the station on the day you checkout.

“Lovely hotel, good location, super helpful hosts.”
This was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip. Lovely friendly staff. Family owned business, lovely vibe, u get welcome teas when you arrive, get traditional garments to wear and it was just a perfect blend of traditional and modern. There’s an on-site onsen. Had a few questions prior to arriving and the host was prompt with their replies which was super helpful.

This family-run ryokan is top-notch. We also loved the private onsens they have for sharing with your family during your stay. The Japanese breakfast was exceptional. And the location is perfect for covering as many onsens as you can handle in this beautiful village.
