Big traditional room with everything you need and an ocean view. Friendly staff, onsen with sauna and much more. Would recommend Uminone to everyone.

Very nice hotel by the sea side. The room had an amazing view of the small bay in front. The service is fantastic, and the meals were very good. The hotel onsen was very nice.

The room was beautiful, with a sea view! Both break first and dinner was excellent Onsen so great and they do free pick up for the train station I would recommend and come back!

Amazing location almost on the beach. Woke up to amazing views from our window. Large roomy room. A little out of town but they were more than happy to pick us up and drop us. The name means ocean sounds which soothed us to sleep. Nice onsens on site. Would highly recommend.

The breakfast was delicious and so was the dinners as well! We had the Japanese breakfast and ordered the bento dinner and crab course dinner as well. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to explain dishes to us.

There are two staffs ( Norma and Zahra) from Indonesia , we cannot speak Japanese but they are so helpful to us throughout our stay . Generally everyone is very courteous and try the best to make out stay safe and enjoyable . This place makes me feel like *I'm staying in an old friend's home*.

“Authentic japanese experience at the ocean”

Uminone was a very beautiful and authentic japanese experience. We had great food (in room dining), a good time in the private onsen and the sound of the nearby ocean-waves was very comforting. The service was excelent (including pick up from the train station) and everyone was very nice and polite.

The location is beautiful, the staff were extremely kind and polite, the whole vibe was comfortable. When it was time for breakfast, I was blown away-- the breakfast was so delicious and the our private dining room was so cool (including the view of the beach). Staff was very helpful during check out and when we left, they even gave us a gift. :)

Probably the most relaxing place we stayed at in Japan - lovely room, great location, very nice onsen, fantastic food, and a pick-up service from the station.

Located in the small village right by the the sea with a small secluded sandy beach outside the window with only one local road between the inn and the beach. The food is delicious! The service perfect! The helpfulness is exemplary - they both picked us up and dropped us off by car at the Takeno station a few km away. The room was large with a great view of the sea from the sitting area by the window. The house's bath is good - of course.

The property is very well decorated in jaoabese style, very cosy and good for family. I am very impressive with the dinner, they are just those we want to eat in japan. And the staffs are very polite and full of service mind.

“Great beach location with lovely staff and nice little onsen”

Great location overlooking beach, with the sound of waves crashing all night (there is a road between hotel and beach). Staff were lovely. Dinner was a fascinating selection of local treats. Perfect little onsen on the ground floor. Free transfers to and from the station. Be advised, if you are coming by train make sure you are in the front carriage, as only these doors will open at Takeno.

Fantastic location beach right out front. Extremely clean facility. Staff were extremely hospitable. We ate breakfast and dinner their daily, it was fantastic food, highly recommend. They offered us private onsen time daily as well. They had this shampoo, conditioner and body wash bar to choose from that was elaborate and extensive. What a special treat. Amazing facility and top-notch hosts. Highly recommend.
