Beautiful location and place, the room was great, the staff were incredibly attentive and kind

Lovely place. Kinosakionsen is a beautiful little town. Tsukimotoya is in a great location to enjoy it all. We loved our stay in Japanese rooms, with traditional breakfasts and dinners. All the onsens are great and it's fun to stroll about town in yukatas. We hired bikes from the tourist centre and rode out to the beach then to some nearby caves. Wonderful stay with such warm hospitality.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff ladies were very kind and accommodating. Here you truly get to experience japanese hospitality. The dinner was immaculate and we requested a non-seafood option as one of us could not eat fish. The meat shabu-shabu was good. Our room was very clean. Our futons were put out for us and the room was cleaned daily. We also had our own private bathroom despite the listing mentioning a shared bathroom, which was a lovely surprise. We left the ryokan fully rested and with beautiful origami creations. ❤️

Food was ABSOLUTLEY amazing. Decent size room. No shower just a toilet and basin.

All staff were very welcoming and managed to sort out my allergy requirements last minute (but please don’t be like me and inform in advance 🥲). Facilities were nice and clean, very nice smell in the ryokan. I also enjoyed sleeping on tatami so definitely go for this option instead of normal bed!

Clean, traditional rooms, with amazing staff. I had a situation that needed sorting in Japanese and Masaya was a complete gem.

The staff / host (since it’s a ryokan) were courteous in welcoming us and explaining the relevant customs + tips. Well located on the main street, within very short walk to all of Kinosaki onsens, well equipped with umbrellas, water dispenser, at least my room has a smart toilet, fridge and AC/heater. For a small guesthouse, it is run very smoothly. Excellent meals, well presented.

Great breakfast and dinner, room was spacious and quiet. We really enjoyed our time and the staff was super nice and helpful. We loved going around the town to visit all the onsens.

The staff were lovely and very patient with us as we navigated our way. The food was delicious and traditional nature of the Ryokan was beautiful and peaceful. We got engaged on one of our days in Kinosaki Onsen. It and Tsukimotoya Ryokan were an amazing stay and perfect place to do so.

Great place to stay, rooms were lovely and the staff were very helpful with the dinner and how to eat certain things, plus fitting of the Yukata before heading out to the baths.

Excellent food, caring staff, clean and spacious rooms including private toilet. Really well located, roughly in the middle of the onsens in the town and right next door to one of them. The food for breakfast and dinner was high quality. They even had a tall sized traditional outfit for me :)
