Clean, great space, Meg was a fantastic host, met some great people would 100% stay again!

Clear and straightforward Instructions Staff spoke clear English Guest house provided all ammenities, I appreciated the phone charger cord. Great value for money, convinent access to Kinosaki Onsen, 9mins by train.

“Convenient Little Hostel, Great Hosts”

Very cool location, friendly hosts, and cozy accommodations. The shared bunk beds were warm. It's a short walk from the station and just one or two stops away from the Kinosaki Onsens. There are express trains to Kobe and Osaka that stop here as well.

“Amazing! More privacy then expected and we got the traditional dress for the Onsen town.”

It was amazing! The stuff is so sweet and the room was much bigger then expected with much less people as you would think. It was only 5 people in a very big room with small room deciders for a bit more privacy. People where extremely friendly and helpful and we even got the typical dressed for the Onsen town that I only expected to get in Hotels. It was very nice and highly recommendable.

Very cute place to says and Meg was a great host giving us many good tips for visiting the onsen and more. Kitchen has had a great inventory to brew your own coffee and also tasty water. The living room is great and offers a cozy place to sit, enjoy, write some postcards...

You get greeted with a warm welcome in very cute and charming hostel. Everyone is so friendly and are happy to chat. We had a big 4 person room with 2 people and the room was very big. Beds were extremely comfy and the common room and kitchen is very cosy. They also have a little bar for dinner and the food was homemade and delicious x

Very convenient to visit kinosaki onsen ＆amanohashidate because both trains can be accessed from the JR toyooka. It’s a short walk under a covered walkway & it’s located under a covered plaza. Very market vibe

There is much care into making your stay a homely one by the welcoming host and staff. All facilities are well kept and there is a cosy common area which serves in the evening as a hangout for locals. Toyooka is a quiet area, with possibilities to explore surroundings. Like the beaches, natural parks and ofcourse the onsens of Kinosaki.

Highly affordable and lovely hostel ran by an incredible host, Meg and her husband. For anyone looking to get accommodation near Kinosaki Onsen but not spend significantly higher prices, this is the place for you. In addition, Toyo-Oka station is only 10 minutes walking and the accommodation has some recommended bars and cafes to dine in. Meg was a lovely host whom we exchanged cultures and customs. It felt homely and the facilities were comfortable. She even went above and beyond to call the doctors in a clinic in Kyoto to explain a minor medical issue. Also, not only could you take the train to Kinosaki Onsen, but the trains can also go to Takeno for a day out at the beach and the nearby coastal towns of Ine and Amanohashidate.

very nice location and a good three bed room. Historic house but still very clean and nice facilities. I really liked it a lot. The staff there is excellent; very friendly and gave recommendations what we can do the next days.
