Located near the station. Very clean and neat. There are 4 private baths available and all are well stocked with soap/shampoo/conditioner and are very well kept. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious.

Beautiful place at KinosakiOnsen, well designed and quiet. Everything you need for conexion with nature and relax. 4 privates onsen to enjoy almost all time you want and free pass to enjoy the public onsen around. A bit expensive but definetely worth it once a life.

“An authentic and unforgettable Japanese experience”

This traditional ryokan-style hotel completely exceeded our expectations. We truly found what we were hoping for… and even more! The staff’s attention and kindness were wonderful, especially Luu, who made the entire experience even warmer and more special. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed. The hotel provides traditional yukatas (women can even choose from different designs) as well as passes for the public onsens in Kinosaki. However, we barely used the public onsens because the hotel had 4 private onsens available to use freely, without reservations, which was perfect for enjoying as a couple with much more comfort and privacy. The kaiseki dinner served in the room was exquisite and very elegant. A true Japanese gastronomic experience, with many small beautifully presented dishes. We slept on very comfortable tatami beds, and the breakfast was also delicious, authentic, and very different from what we Westerners are used to. Kinosaki Onsen is a small, walkable, cinematic town, especially when strolling around at night wearing yukatas. A unique and unforgettable experience that I completely recommend.

Lovely ryoken room with ensuite WC. Accommodated our vegetarian request from breakfast and dinner. Four onsen baths for couples. Convenient location for railway station and six public onsen baths.

It felt like a very authentic experience. The staff were very welcoming and comforting. The complementary services were also of high quality. The location of the ryokan was just perfect. The breakfast was also a unique experience. Very much depends on your personal likings but I would recommend to just lean in.

Exceptional stay! The room was beautiful, the private onsens were so nice and we had the breakfast which was so so good. The staff were so friendly and so accommodating. This has been one of our best stays in japan!

The whole ryokan experience was phenomenal. The ryokan itself is beautifully appointed and the attention to detail in the design was spectacular. The private onsens were amazing and the staff were so attentive, gracious and kind. The chef who worked hard on the kaiseki dinner and breakfasts deserves an award! The food and dining experience made the whole stay.

Our first ryokan experience at mikuniya was the highlight of our trip! The hotel was gorgeous and the newest bath was beautiful. The food was the best we had in Japan and we were genuinely blown away by how beautiful it was. The staff were exceptional, we've never been looked after so well. Location is great, close to the station and the river and baths.
