“Wonderful ryokan, incredible meals”

Beautiful ryokan, with spacious rooms and friendly staff. The meals were excellent. You can tell the owner really cares about making a great experience for the guests.

The staff were so helpful and friendly! Although they spoke good English it made me wish that I knew some Japanese to be able to talk to them more. We got upgraded to a bigger room free of charge which was a nice surprise, a private onsen bath was also an unexpected perk. I loved my yukata (which you get to pick upon arrival). The place feels like stepping back in time which is exactly what we wanted. It's warm and cozy. Thank you so much!

Worth every penny—an absolutely phenomenal place. My only complaint is that I didn’t book a longer stay. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Easily one of my favorite stays in Japan.

The accommodation and facilities were brilliant, the atmosphere was very traditional and relaxing. The staff were awesome, nothing was to much trouble.

Loved everything, wish we had stayed longer! The friendly staff, on-site onsen, good sized comfortable room, beautiful town with so many fabulous onsens we could use with the free pass given by the hotel.

The attention to detail was incredible. From the moment I walked through the sluding coloured glass doors I was met with.care and consideration. This continued throughout my stay, from the exceptional staff, to my beautiful room, to the private onsen and then a spectacular dining experience. Breakfast the next day was also amazing. I have nothing but excessive praise for my sadly one day experience here. Thank you very much.

The room was spacious and the food - both breakfast and dinner were incredible! Some of the most delicious kaiseki crab dinners I’ve had in kinosaki onsen! The staff were so kind and nice and made the stay more welcoming. Loved the yukata selection and the location is great!

The staff were incredible. The private bath was such a treat! The traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. Convenient location for the train station and the other baths.

Kinosaki is a beautiful place, and overall I enjoyed my stay. The location is wonderful and staff are really helpful. For me, sleep was a little difficult: I could hear traffic, outside light came in at night, and the small fridge near the bed was a bit noisy. The room was simple, and clean. With a few improvements (better blackout curtains and reduced noise), it would be much more restful.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, close to station and main baths, rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the private onsen is amazing.

The food was amazing. The location was great. The private onsen was very nice and the room we stayed in was comfortable. Everyone was extremely hospitable and friendly. We had a great time and would stay there again.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed and more. Small touches like toiletries and being able to leave our luggage at the facility after checkout while we walked around and waited for our train made this a 5star experience. The private onsen was gorgeous.

Lovely hospitality and wonderful meals. They made us feel welcome and were a comfortable way for Western visitors to immerse themselves in onsen culture

The people who run this onsen are fantastic, very helpful and so nice. Great location near the station. The room is huge, and beautifully laid out. The dinner and breakfast were a bonus. Great stay.
