Worth the money, good location, good breakfast

The public bath view was amazing. The beds are wedged in a corner, but, eh, it's Japan. Microwave on every floor for the win! The parfait at the Café Largo restaurant were a nice little indulgence.

It's a well-priced business hotel, so it has all the amenities that come with it. It's very comfortable and a short walking distance from the train station. The breakfast is pretty good!

About 10min walk from the station, so easy access.

Very good Japanese Izakaya Taiya is right next to the hotel! Their sea food is so fresh and there are many local sakes 😍

Location Public bath is too small and always crowded. Boast about the view from 11th floor but windows are all closed 😒

Hotel is not too far from the train station in a quiet area. I liked the onsen.

Very good hotel with comfortable beds and good facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is first class! Good restaurants in building right next door. The hotel is centrally located and only 1 to 2 minutes from the streetcar. Nothing negative to report.

Great breakfast and comfortable stay

I love the breakfast at Toyama Manten Hotel. The reception was very friendly and the room was conscientiously provided for and clean. Furthermore the location is good, not too far to walk from the main Toyama station.

The car park attendant gave us secure undercover parking for our motorcycles near his office, which we were not charged extra for. Breakfast was great if you are a westerner and like buffet style, with a choice of cooked or cereals. Toyama sits between the ocean and the Japanese alps, which were covered in snow when we were there. The wind was chilly, but the contrast of sea on one side and snow capped mountains on the other was quite unusual.

The hotel is old, but clean and effort has been made to keep the facilities in good condition. The public bath exceeded expectations and was very comfortable, and certainly better than other budget hotel chains.

“Relaxing stay in Toyama city”

The hotel is close to a tram stop and Toyama station. We enjoyed the hotel amenities, including the upstairs lounge and superb hot spring bathing facility. We were so relaxed that we accidentally stayed an extra day! As this caused a problem for us, the hotel reception staff were wonderful in helping to rearrange another accommodation booking.
