Room was very comfortable, included nice private bathtub, although I didn't try it, because the onsen was so wonderful. Complimentary refreshments after using the onsen much appreciated. Staff is friendly. All in all a very pleasant stay.

“Top choice in Toyama”

The onsen was sublime: the hottest bath was 45 degrees and the coldest was very cold. About five different baths in total. Plus the private bath in the room plumbed to fill up with spring water. The breakfast was superb. The local specialty dishes were a feature. There’s a “no shoe” policy to protect the tatami flooring throughout and it’s very relaxing walking around the hotel with the socks provided. Also, very helpful and friendly staff. Toyama is a town with lots of tourist appeal but off the beaten track. Recommended as a base for day trips too.

The rooms in this hotel each have their own Hinoki bath which can draw onsen water. The public bath is actually open to the public for a daily rate, but is is huge, especially the sauna, so there is no overcrowding.

Onsen is the Best 👍👍👍 n free tickets for city tram , n every night got free ramen 😋😋😋 All the staff is so polite 👍👍👍👍👍

The room is compact but includes a private onsen-style bathtub. There is also a public bath available. The entire hotel is tatami-style, and guests are required to remove their shoes and store them in lockers. Comfortable enough for a short one-night stay.

We had a room on the same floor as the bath, which was extremely convenient. Great breakfast. Perfect location, many restaurants and shops an easy walk away.

Such a nice place to stay! The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The facilities were excellent. If you want to enjoy the onsen you can choose to bathe in your room or in the larger public baths. The hotel thoughtfully provided toiletries like disposable hairbrushes and toothbrushes. The staff were warm and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely traditional hotel with excellent onsen facilities and amazing breakfast. Rooms are small but comfortable, location is excellent, an easy walk from the station straight down the main street, but be warned you will not find the name of the hotel in English characters, we walked past it several times looking for it. To those who complain about having to take their shoes off in a hotel, perhaps don’t visit Japan.

Similar to the Dormy Inn chain, facilities like Onsen, water dispenser, free coffee & tea, ice cream were great. Mattress and pillows were also comfortable.

No shoe policy which makes the whole place clean..especially if the bedroom is not very large. There is a parking space tou can offload luggage and park at the multi storey parking in next building. There are also many eating places. The plus in the hotel was the onsen bath in the room which was very nice.
