It’s not too far from Toyama station, the host gave me two complimentary tickets for the tram, he was so kind and helpful, his service was outstanding, I highly recommend this property as it looks really Japanese style for a small price.

Pure Japanese style house and decoration. Not so many rooms. Quiet and clean. I came early before check in time, but the owner welcomed me and gave me the suggestion about sightseeing.

Super nice host who gave us suggestions for food nearby and even two free tickets for the local tram as a present:)

Very friendly and helpful owner. Not far from Higashi-Iwase tram line. Beds are comfortable and private. Bike, toothbrush, and towel rental available.

The host was really kind, he made conversation with me even though I speak little japanese and recommended a few spots around the area to visit. Both the house and the share rooms were more spacious than I expected, and I also got a couple of free tram tickets with my stay. Great experience.

The accommodation was cozy and walking distance away from the nearest city tram station. The owner was friendly and goes the extra mile to get to know his guests, and provide recommendations and suggestions accordingly. Being away from Toyama city center, one can get a glimpse of a quieter neighborhood, which is a big plus.

“Very convenient, cozy, and pleasant”

I love traveling around Japan on a bicycle and rarely stop in hotels, hostels, or guesthouses. I usually sleep in a tent or on a bench at a roadside station. But this time, I decided to stay in this Guesthouse Iwase to rest after my hike to Mt. Tsuguri-dake. I'm very pleased that I stayed in this wonderful place. The guesthouse owner is very friendly and caring. Right from the beginning, he showed and told me everything. The guesthouse has a very comfortable living room, a very clean shower, and a quiet shared room with 4 beds. The air conditioning prevents me from experiencing the heat outside. Due to the rain, the guesthouse owner offered to store my bicycle at the entrance, for which I am very grateful. I was able to ride the bicycle available for rent. The bicycle very comfortable and good. I rode to the center of Toyama to see the local park and sat at Starbucks. In the evening, in the living room, we sat down with the guesthouse owner and other guests, sharing our impressions of the day spent. I highly recommend this guesthouse. P.s. I also liked the house. It's in a Japanese style with european elements (the room for four people).

“I would recommend staying at this lovely location”

We were happy to be walking distance to the beach on a hot day. The location is very accessible by transit. We loved how quiet the area was. The neighbours were very friendly - we ended up watching fireworks with both the host and the neighbours. There was an unexpected festival we came across (Minato), and it was an excellent, friendly experience. The host was very communicative and helpful.

The staff was super friendly and helpful and even shared some local snacks with me! The room was very clean and nice. Would have loved to stay longer.
