“It was a mistake to accept the smoking room. Most of the Toyama people were really kids-unfriendly.”

“Relaxing”
We knew there would be a sink in the room instead of a washing basin in the toilet, no big deal. Great Onsen. We enjoyed the popsicles & noodle in the evening & Yakult in the morning.

I will always go back to this hotel when in Toyama. It is older and in need of some love but the bath area is magnificent.

“Easy stay , Onsen and location exacrly what I wanted.”
I stayed one night, wanted to Try dormy Inn for the onsen. It was as the reviews claim, really nice and lovely layout at the Toyama dormy Inn. Sauna, 2 main baths, plenty of shower stations with nice products plus the snacks. I booked the double room to make sure there was space for winter luggage, and with plenty of space by the entry "foyer" it didn't invade my space to get to bed/bathroom. Bed was comfy - Room was warm so I didn't need to use the heat pump. Pillow was a little small and I didn't think to ask for a second but might of been an option. I came earlier than check in and they held bags so I could go exploring Quiet at night, given how busy the onsen was I thought it might be noisy along the corridors or with the cross walk outside but everything was quiet after 930pm. All the amenities are on the bottom floor to help yourself. Location: Tram or walk to the station, Toyama castle is between Dormy Inn and the station.

The services given are good, breakfast and noodles at night are tasty. All the free amenities are good. Stored our luggage before check-in and took them to our room.

“A good stay with good facilities and good staff.”
The room was very nice. And the staff were very helpful. They always supplied fresh towels - maybe too many actually. The wifi was great.

Location is a bit of the walk from the station but it could be accessed by bus. Onsen was good as with Dormy Inn.

“Always a pleasure”
As on previous stays here, it's a pleasure to have the bath to come back to, especially at the end of freezing winter day. The location, near the old castle park, is readily accessible by train/street car — but it's also walking distance from the Shinkansen station if you don't have too much luggage.

“Good value for money, would stay again”
The hotel was new and very clean. The onsen was great and not crowded. Parking was expensive, but otherwise the hotel was a good value for the money.

“Excellent Stay with Superb Onsen”
Even for just one night, our stay at Dormy Inn Toyama was excellent. The onsen is definitely the highlight, made even better by the delicious free ice cream. All the facilities were very nice, and the breakfast was also notably good. The staff were incredibly helpful; we especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture when the lady at reception noticed us preparing our luggage for the rain and brought us protective covers.
