Overview
These rustic-style Townsend Dancing Bear Lodge are located off US Highway 321 and feature a full kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, and private hot tub. Little River is 4 minutes’ walk away. Many of the units have a separate seating area, sofa, and cable TV are included in each cabin. Dancing Bear Lodge extras include a full bathroom with a shower, towels, and linen in addition to daily housekeeping. Hiking and biking trails are offered across this 36-acre property as well as a shared fitness centre. Free parking is provided as well, and staff is on site daily. Laurel Valley Golf Course is 7 minutes’ drive away. The property is also 6.2 km from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Great property, lovely log cabin, close to Townsend facilities and easy access to Cades cove. Free breakfast. Friendly staff. Very comfortable. I was woken by a woodpecker!

“Peace and quiet - great for a relaxed holiday”
Great location for us - quiet and relaxed. Cabins were comfortable and loved sitting out on the balcony with nothing but trees surrounding us. Restaurant was superb - we ate there a couple of times and by far the best option in the area.

We stayed in a villa with a hot tub. It was a lovely spacious apartment in a great location. We loved the hot tub and the balcony. It was very close to Cades Coves and the GSMNP. The onsite Dancing Bear restaurant was exceptional! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Interior of our cabin was clean and comfortable. Shower was good. Free breakfast at the Apple Valley Cafe was delicious. Gift basket was a nice touch. Convenient to have a few dining choices on the property.

“Relaxing stay in the Smokey Mountains”
We had a wonderful stay at The Dancing Bear Lodge! It’s a very special and fantastic lodge in Townsend. Our last stay was 14 years ago and we enjoyed it as much as the last time.

Loved the decor and size very cozy and staff very helpful and loved delivery service for breakfast. Perfect location too would stay again
