Very old and run down, large complex designed for tour buses, and once the tour buses left all the lights were turned off and facilities essentially shut down so we did not feel very welcome. The weather was really bad when we were staying so we ended up leaving a day earlier but we would have stayed if the weather was better.

Good location, good dinnet and breakfast.

The hotel is at a convenient location to the Oirase keiryū Gorge, many local tours stayed the night during autumn, its good that there are plenty of space and room so we didn't feel crowded. It was an interesting experience sleeping on a tatami floor, worth a try if you're curious. The onsen was pretty nice, especially the outdoor one at night time. Breakfast was alight.

This is a pretty old hotel facility, maybe from the 1970's?? You could really feel the atmosphere of that time, everything is neat and clean, but feels very old fashioned. The rooms are very spacious. The location near Lake Towaso is great, short walk to the shore. You also can easily find a bus to nicer hiking places, especially to the river valley nearby. However, the bus does not run too often. Onsen was spacious, but not really enjoyable. Given the fact that it's included to the room fee, it's very convenient. Both dinner and breakfast were very tasteful, also rich. You don't leave the restaurant with an empty stomack.

I liked the onsen area. There was also an outdoor onsen. The waterfall inside the hotel brought a relaxing serenity feeling. The room had a sitting table and was quite spacious.

The onsen is great, the location is convenient too, to explore the Lake.

Easy access to the Onsen. Futons for beds, young children can easily move around.

Rustic and traditional, but clean and comfortable. The futon mattress was just right and the blanket is very comfortable. The room given was very spacious, perfect for unwinding after a long hike.

Good location near the lake and convenient to drive to Oirase Gorge. Friendly staff. Good size room.

Big hotel and well located.

It's a good place to stay if visiting the Oirase Gorge. Both indoor and outdoor onsen. Easy to get to with your own transport.
