Overview
Drive Inn Keigetsu is set in Towada, 3.5 km from Tsuta Hot Spring. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Oirase River is only a minute's stroll from the property. The rooms include a TV. Certain units include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. All rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom. Mount Hakkoda is a 30-minute drive away, where guests can enjoy Hiking. Guests are able to engage in a variety of outdoor activities near the property. While the reviews stating there were bugs is true, however its not that many and there were no bugs in our room. The owners have also made significant efforts in reducing them so there is nothing to worry about. The bugs are stink bugs abundant during warmer times, they are harmless. Property location was fantastic with views of the gorge.

The room was clean, nice and spacious. The bathroom and the shower were clean. Hot and cold water was provided in the room for drinking. You can buy dinner downstairs, the owner couple will prepare it for you.

there're bus stops nearby, if you don't come with car, traditional Japanese style rooms, the restaurant downstairs offers transitional food as well, have had our lunch and breakfast there, definitely recommend it,even if you don't stay there, the restaurant worths a try. The day we arrived was raining heavily, so the host offered us the early check-in, very appreciated.

“A real fell of Japan”
It was nice to be in a guesthouse instead of the impersonal hotel. It was a taste of real Japan with real family people, not staff. We slept in a 6 tatamis room with confortable futons. We ate marvelous family cooking, specially for breakfast. We walk to the onsen near by on the evening for a relaxing bath. We really enjoy our stay!

Good view of the river. Nearest bus stn for JR Tohoku is Yakeyama bus stn. Highly recommended to book breakfast and dinner as there are no restaurants open for dinner ard that area. No combini ard too.Food served is great. They have 1 ofuro at basement.

It is a family run amall inn. We had half board n the food for bothdiner n bf was so good n sumptuous. The charges were well worth and location was so convenient that is just at the beginning of oirase gorge.

The accomodation is an older property right at the beginning of Oirase stream, with parking for up to 7ish cars right out front. The rooms are basic and in good condition, while the shared areas are a bit more dated. Food was traditional and plentiful! Communication with the owners was only in Japanese so a bit choppy, but they were friendly regardless.
