The owner is very friendly and he rented me his motorcycle to go to Fathala. Good dinner and good breakfast.

La Kora is a good pension. The manager is always smiling and helpful. The place is clean. There is plenty of plants in the garden, which is a big plus (many households and gardens in Senegal have no green plants, hard to say why). A small gym in the garden, that's also great. Breakfast is quite okay, if you are used to Senegalese standard (in Senegal you won't get real coffee, and the "european" breakfast is a lot of sugar). Great location in a very peaceful area. What I liked best was the breakfast served in front of the room and the homemade baguette. They do serve dinner as well, the food is really delicious.

The place is truly enchanting. Immersed in greenery and peace. The room is spacious, large and comfortable bed, super breakfast. But let me say a few words for Amadou...exquisite and extremely kind person. He really helped me a lot in moving from there to Saly and for this I thank him again. What can I say... if you stop in Toubakouta, stay here because you won't go wrong!

It was wonderful budget accommodation. Having read some previous reviews, I can’t believe that a European can have the intelligence to make it here and then complain about the breakfast - baguettes baked on the premises, artisan jams etc. SUPERB. The staff were simply wonderful, the most friendly, kind-hearted people I have ever met in my travels.

fantastic place in a quiet peaceful location. the rooms are clean and the garden is a wonderful. the best part though is the manager Bobo. fantastic person who will help with all your trips and tours. he goes well beyond in helping and making sure you are comfortable and are enjoying your trip.

Nice garden, quiet place

“Very basic, remote and (luckily) cheap.”

We wanted a cheap base for exploring (what we thought was) a hub for tourism in this part of Senegal. The guest house is on the outskirts of a very small village, with little to do. There are two larger hotels, which offer some activities and tours, but we simply payed for a bed to sleep in, and got nothing more.

The staff member I met was extremely friendly and helpful. Even though I cannot speak French he did his best to help me plan my onward journey (thank you!) The place itself is very nice and the rooms really clean. wifi worked well and it’s easy to explore the village from here.
