As soon as I got there, I felt like a home. The French owner was super welcoming and she introduced me to her friends who were there relaxing and I joined them for a quick conversation. The room was super clean, big and comfortable. Shower water running well. Location perfect to the vibrant part if the village and 1 min from the beach. I still miss the little Cher who took my heart. Ciao Cheerer 😘😘😘

It feels like home. The guest rooms upstairs have their own terrace, which gives us a separate, private zone. They also have a pool, which I didn’t see in the surrounding hotels.

“Splendid”

The lady running the place for the owners is lovely. It is a very small hotel and for their size they have amazing amenities. A nice little bar and sitting area. A small pool with lounge chairs. A roof terrace for the three rooms upstairs and another big roof terrace overlooking the town and ocean. The rooms are big. The bathroom is spacious (much better than most in Senegal). The seat on the toilet did not fit perfectly but if that is the only drawback...then you know it was good. Don't expect a quiet environment. It is in the middle of the village. You will hear the prayers loudly early morning and in the evening and on weekends, Friday to Sunday, you'll hear the 'lutte Sénégalaise', fight competitions with loud music till 2 or 3 pm. Single glazing (obviously) makes you hear it all. If you don't like noise outside, get a room outside the city centre or a european type hotel with soundproofing (if that exists...). I loved the place and had ear plugs. I liked that airconditioning is optional for 3000 CFA because I don't like to use it. There is a fridge and plenty of Nescafé and tea to drink. Nice decoration (chairs and cupboards). In all, an unexpectedly great experience because I stayed in quite some places much less worth their price.

It was a great stay. The host family is great and extremely helpful and lovely. I would definetely come back. The room was upstairs, it had a very spacious outside area to relax, also there is a pool on the property. The guest house is located in a nice small village and just a short walk to the beach. We did two excursions with Sheikh and they were great.

Nice place to stay. Not easy to find but they had good communication to help us.

Very nice and welcoming place, the owners was so nice and helpful with everything. They organised the transport to and from the airport and made it very easy for me. And the place is beautiful and very clean, mosquitoe net and repellent in the rooms, nice hot shower. Very good for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Great room, comfortable bed, lovely environment and super helpful and friendly owners. I arrived very very late and the lovely driver that had been organised was there to meet me, as was the owner when I arrived at the property.

This is a very good choice if you are looking for a nice quiet place to chill It's few mins walking from the beach, 2 mins from nice restaurant in Mimosa hotel. And there is a small shop there, so u can get cheese and cookies for a breakfast (u have tea and coffee in room) Also there is a very nice and comfy terrace with hammocks. 40 mins driving to the airport I have asked Cheih to meet me in Dakar Terminus and then at the end drop me at the airport, everything was just in time and very safe. And also I've asked about the excursions to Joal Fadiut and Sine Saloum which is highly recommend! As for the room, there was everything you need, including anti mosquitos spray, fridge and 1.5L water, tea and coffee

Lovely property and great to start our trip around Senegal in a small fishing town rather than in Dakar. Airport transfer went smoothly and the property has a lot of character with friendly owners
