“A peaceful spot”
We loved this hotel, located in a picturesque village near Dakar. The beach is really close by and the hotel has a nice and clean swimming pool. The garden was exquisite, the room and the bathroom were clean, very cozy and comfortable. It is a peaceful spot where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We really liked the food too. The taxi service to the airport was very helpful. Overall, a very nice experience that we shall repeat in the future!

“I will revisit anytime am in Senegal.”
Amet & his wife, Amina the receptionist, Smiley the bartender & Louis made my stay feel like home. As per usual the place is kept immaculate, the kitchen is open late if you decide to use the pool or chill and the supermarket has most things. The beach is nearby with many amenities.

I don't recommend a stay here. Got electrocuted by some cut wires close to the pool and had food poisoning after eating dinner (spent 3 weeks in Africa and it was the first time I had problems with my stomach). The dormitory room is full of mosquitoes and hard to sleep. If you value your live don't come here.

“A warm and helpful stay that perfectly catered to our short layover”
It was a beautiful location in a nice village close to the sea. We were only there to pass the time during a layover, but we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who did everything they could to comfort us, provide us with a meal and ensure we got back to the airport on time. Highly recommend to use the transfer they offer. It’s a good price and safe option. The drive takes 30 min from DSS AIRPORT to Hotel Mimosa. Wish you could have stayed longer!

“I will return to stay again as I was made to feel very welcomed”
Amet (owner) was very helpful and kind - excellent customer service. The staff invited me to eat lunch with them daily. The room I booked (dorm) wasn’t available and the owner upgraded me at no extra cost. Property well maintained, well equipped with A/C and fans, soap, toilet paper, on site restaurant and grocery store. The garden and pool with seating area is beautiful and relaxing. There is also a craft market just outside.

Location is really good, close to the beach. Staff was friendly. Room was quite spacios and all what you need. Loved the terrace. Small supermarket in the same building. But overall worth to stay.

“Low-cost, clean option in a small beach town near the airport”
This hotel is excellent value for the money, ideal for budget-conscious travelers. The pool is well-maintained and clean. The hotel is a few steps from the beach, but not on the beach. Good rooms with 5-6 beds for families or groups of friends. The town is quiet. Not a tourist trap. Good opportunity to actually meet and talk to people from Senegal. Good transport from the airport with the hotel's van. It takes 30 minutes to arrive at the hotel from the airport.
