Overview
Only a 5-minute walk from JR Tottori Train Station, Ryokan Marumo offers Japanese-style accommodations with traditional garden views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby and guests can soothe in the spacious public hot-spring bath. The rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests. Room includes a private toilet but bathrooms are shared. Ryokan Marumo is a 15-minute drive away from Tottori Sand Dunes and a 10-minute drive from Jinpukaku Hall. Tottori Airport is a 20-minute drive away. Photocopying services and a safety deposit box is available at the front desk. Luggage storage is offered as well, and ironing facilities and a trouser press can be borrowed. Free parking is on-site. A Japanese set-menu is served for breakfast. A traditional multi-course dinner can be requested but is subject to availability. Meals are served at the dining room.

We had such a lovely stay here. The place is wonderful, and every staff member we met was genuinely kind and welcoming. They thoughtfully responded to all of our needs, which made us feel truly cared for. The environment is clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect. The meals were absolutely delicious, you can really feel the care and dedication the chef puts into every dish. It made our experience even more special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

“Great ryokan”
Great ryokan, very comfortable. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The Onsen is accessible all night, great if you are jet lagged.

“Close to station a touch of original Japan”

Super friendly and highly professional staff. Breakfast and Dinner were well-prepared and very delicious. The Onsen felt so comforting after a long winter day. Overall the Ryokan feels like "home" so we would definitely like to return someday. Thank you for the experience!

“Very good!”
Good location, close to the station. Very kind staff, they also speak a bit of English which is very helpful. The public bath is great with a private option. Would also recommend the Japanse breakfast which was very good!

“A nice afffordable Ryokan in a great location.”
The location is only a short walk from the station. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The onsen is a really nice way to finish a day of sightseeing. The Japanese breakfast was amazing.

“Great ryokan, would love to stay there again”
Wonderful ryokan that is extremely value for money. Location was a short walk from Tottori Station, and close to a lot of good food (the best ones all require reservation, though). Great private / family bath, beautiful garden, spacious room. They also managed to book a superb masseur for me (4000yen for 40min).

Location was interesting as it was a onsen in the middle of the city. The onsen was very nice to have a available at the place we were staying. The beds were nice and ac worked well.

it is a modern new renovated ryokan. Their style has good design value should worth more than their price . Everything is good enough of this ryokan, and it is extremely close to the major street.
