Overview
The traditional Hotel March enjoys a privileged position in the centre of Tossa del Mar, on northern Spain’s beautiful Costa Brava. Surrounded by 1,500 m² of lush, Mediterranean gardens, this family-run hotel provides a tranquil base to enjoy this picturesque and cultural coastline. The beach of Playa del Castillo lies just 150 metres away, but you can also stay onsite and take the sun on the typically Catalan sun terrace or in the hotel’s outdoor pool with sea water. The beautiful and historic local area can be explored on bike or with a hire car, either of which can be rented from the hotel. From certain rooms it is even possible to see the resort’s ‘Moorish Tower’. Additional on-site facilities include a children’s playground and Wi-Fi internet access. The hotel can arrange diving courses for guests at an extra charge. It offers beginners courses in the hotel pool, as well as open water diving.

“Friendly, great location hotel with parking.”
Family run hotel, central, convenient and with parking. Very friendly and welcoming. After check out we were able to leave our car in the car park until the afternoon. The pool with flower filled courtyard was lovely, an added bonus. Not far from everything but very quiet in the evening.

“Well located family run hotel in the beautiful Tossa de Mar”
The location was good - it was a short walk to the beaches, the restaurants, the shops, the historic sights. The room was clean and tidy and we were given fresh towels every day. The breakfast had a lot of choice. The pool was lovely. The staff were nice and friendly.

“Beautiful family run hotel in Toassa, we would return again.”
The staff were attentive and kind. They made a stay for my 83 year old mother comfortable and were helpful and kind.

“Great Family Hotel”
Reception noticed my friend was not too mobile and we were changed to a more appropriate room next morning.Staff could not be more helpful. Excellent breakfast and coffee good ! The pool is a bonus. No complaints at all and recommend highly.

“A relaxing and restful stay”
The location was excellent, within a short walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops. There was a wide range of options at breakfast. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels supplied. The staff were friendly and happy to help with any problems.

The stuff is amazing , very nice and welcoming. The hotel is located in the center but it was not noisy. Everything you need is walking distance. The room is a little outdated but is very clean and the A/C works great. Definitely recommend!

The morning buffet was absolutely delicious! The owner and their son personally looks after everything and is very kind and attentive to every guest,.The entire staff especially the person on night duty was very helpful. Overall, a very positive experience.

“Fantastic hotel in excellent location”
Review shows my husband's name but it was myself, Bev 59, and female friend, over 70. Visited with a friend, we booked a twin room and we were given a triple overlooking the pool! Family owned hotel, excellent service, everyone was very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble! There isn't a lift at the moment (but one is being installed in winter 2025), 2 young staff members materialised as we checked in and carried our cases upstairs to 2nd floor and they were brought down again when we checked out! Super clean room, very comfortable beds, spotless linens, balcony, nice bathroom, fantastic aircon, little fridge. Delicious breakfast (included in price) with wide range of foods, breads, pastries, hams, cheeses, best tortilla I've ever had, little sausages, yogurts, cereals, etc, great coffee, you can sit in air-conditioned breakfast room or out by the pool, there is also a bar. Lovely clean pool, no problem getting a sun lounger, cool music played during the day and not loud. Parking onsite which was fantastic, on my first visit to Tossa last year the hotel I stayed at had no parking and I had to park miles away in a public carpark, I loved having the car right there! The hotel is very close to the old town with all the boutiques and restaurants, also a short walk to newer areas, not far from the beach. I love the history of the hotel being an old cork factory and 3rd generation family running it, they also live onsite. The corridors have lovely antique rustic furniture, great atmosphere, pretty gardens too, dog friendly, SO many cute dogs! The hotel was very quiet at night. Going back for sure, already planning our next trip!!

My 3rd stay at this hotel. It never disappoints. Beautiful clean room. Gorgeous garden and pool side area. Excellent breakfast. A friendly family run hotel. The sons are a credit to their parents. Delightful young men. Close to shops and restaurants. My auntie has stayed here too, several times with friends and loved it. We will certainly be back again. Well done Hotel Sant March.
