We were greeted by Sebastian upon arrival to Tortuguero and he pointed out all of the local facilities and points of interest on our walk to the hostel. The view from our balcony was also fantastic for sunrise over the ocean. We had the place to ourselves!

The accommodation is really right next to the beach, so it's super convenient if you want to have a quick soak (not much swimming, rip currents). The people at parking La Pavona know Tortuguero Adventures, so it's easy enough to get to/from Tortuguero, you get dropped off directly at their office. The host was really nice, so was the guide for our night walk, honestly a great experience.

I stayed at the Paisajes property which is right on the beach and really comfortable and quiet. The staff and tour guides at Tortuguero Adventures were all really friendly and helpful and we saw lots of wildlife on the tours. They also have a genuine respect for nature and don’t disturb the animals.

Fantastic location! Clean room. There is a shared kitchen, which we didn't use, but it looked clean and adequately equiped. The building and grounds need some attention, but for the price it was fine.

“Fantastic place for wildlife”

Just set back from beach so great location. Only a minute walk to mini market. Only a few minutes from the ferry terminal however check in is at a different spot in the other direction Booked wonderful tours, walking day and night, and a boat tour. Our guide Hector was fantastic. Emmanuel, the host was also wonderful and extremely helpful.

Great location just off the beach and the main Street of Tortuguero. Nice to have air conditioning and access to fridge, kettle etc in kitchen, bed comfortable. Staff were great, very welcoming and informative

“Lovely cute lil beach house that is good value for a short stay”

The location is the best part of this hostel. Right by the beach the hammocks make it super chill to read a book early morning whilst the beach is still empty. You look out to the waves and it's super relaxing. The staff at the main shop are also really friendly with a cute dog. He got our tours booked - no hassle.

the location on the beach is exellent and so relaxing. right in the village, you can get a great experience living with the locals.

The location right on the beach next to a beach bar is just perfect. Everything was very straightforward from the booking on, perfectly organized. And the excursions were simply amazing. It was incredible. The tranquility, the experience of the guide, the kayak tour. Even when you think there are so many boats around, the guide finds the perfect spot where you can feel alone and at peace.

Really well located and clean (considering it’s in the middle of the rainforest). The staff is really nice and you are in front of the beach, which is really good.

We really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. The location is fantastic, right by the beach but also only close by Tortuguero's main street with its shops, cafes and restaurants. When we arrived into Tortuguero by boat we were dropped off at Tortuguero Adventures reception, where Emanuel welcomed us and then showed us to our accommodation which was a short walk away. He was incredibly helpful (even on the following day when it was his day off) in recommending tours and places to eat, and in helping us book a boat transfer to the airstrip. We also loved his very friendly dog! It was very hot and humid in Tortuguero so the air conditioning in the room was very welcome. We had a family room which had a double bed and two bunk beds, and we arranged to have laundry done during our stay at a very reasonable price.
