“Authentic Costa Rican Stay in Nature”
What can I say? Oscar was an absolute dream! Even before we arrived he had organised the boat for us and arranged any trips we wanted during our stay in Tortuguero. His mother met us at the boat and they welcomed us into the house. We felt like true locals staying in an authentic Costa Rican house. There were no mosquito screens, so we just kept our bedroom door closed, which worked well. The location was perfect - tucked away in town, just a five-minute walk from everything we needed. Oscar took us on a night walk and it was pure magic - we saw so much. It was wonderful to escape the crowds and enjoy a personalised tour. I’d highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for an authentic small-town Costa Rican experience with a great tour guide!

Great space for a family. It's really nice to be met from the boat. Kids enjoyed swinging in the hammocks.

Very close to center of the city and natural park, yet out of the main street. We had two bedroom house with a garden just for ourselves.

Very friendly team. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived at the harbour, where we were picked up to show us the way to the house. Location is perfect, walking distance to everything

It was in Tortuguero pueblo - close to many restaurants, nature reserve and coastline. Owners lived next door and were helpful , for example with collecting on arrival.

“Close to National Park”
Friendly host who picked us up from the harbour. Late check out hour available. All in line with the Offer, in the neibourhood isolated from the touristic center but more habited by locals. 5 min walk to the beach and main Dock, 1 min to National Park entrancEverything very clean apart from the inside of the fridge. Internet works perfectly. Host offered much cheaper tours.

I loved my stay here, it had everything that was needed including a new coffee machine which l so appreciated! It was delightful watching life from the patio drinking my coffee, this is an authentic Costa Rica home without screens, so if you are going to make the comparison with a resort don't, its simple but has everything needed. It is a short stroll to the town, the owner is amazing and helped me a few times when l needed it. It was so lovely to have a respite from the normal Costa Rican traffic, the dogs & roosters were the background noise.
