The location was incredible, loads of nature and wildlife. The staff was super helpful and friendly, they made everything super easy for us.

Super beautiful compound with a very nice pool, comfortable rooms and a bar terrace directly at the river. We didn't mind that there's no AC as it's not too warm in the rainforest at night.

Loved the vibe, waking up to next to a forest. Also great food!

The location is great, close to the water and really in the jungle. So many animals around the lodge, really nice. The room was perfect, large, clean and great atmosphere!

“Delightful Jungle Stay!”

The ambience of the property is excellent, with beautiful natural surroundings and abundant wildlife. Hearing the howler monkeys at dawn was a unique and memorable experience. The staff were consistently attentive, and all tours were very well organized, making the overall stay smooth and enjoyable.

The hotel is beautiful, it's located in the middle of the jungle, and we could see sloths, monkeys and many birds while at the pool, or walking around the property. The taxi boat into town only takes a few minutes and they are very flexible. The pool was very quiet when we were there, perfect for relaxing. Our room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast finished very early, but when we had the 6am tours, even when booked with a local guide and not the hotel, they kept some food aside so we could still enjoy it when we came back, we just had to ask the day before.

Tico breakfast with variations, very good. Position of the rooms spread throughout the lush gardens. Houler monkeys on top of our bungalow. Splendid pool area. Fantastic!

The grounds were beautiful. Nice location away from the huddle and bustle of town. Pool was beautiful and very welcome to refresh after a day in the sun! The best thing about Pachira was the staff - in particular Bismarck - who booked (and sometimes ran) our water taxis and even arranged for our passports to be reunited with us when we foolishly left them in the hotel safe when we left!!

“Lovely hotel in lush gardens”

Amazing place to stay. We loved the nature trail behind the hotel and seeing green turtles coming up the beach and laying their eggs was a magical experience.

Fabulous Location, pool area, rooms and gardens and close to both the canals of the national park and the Tortuguero village. Staff are wonderful and the food is good and new restaurant area a big improvement on the previous one.

The surroundings and the rooms were so comfortable, clean and very nicely furnished. The food was inexpensive, not really fancy but good food with plenty of choice. Pool / bar area was gorgeous. Loved the wildlife around too.
