What an awesome hotel , so peaceful and relaxing with amazing wildlife

“Stunning location, clean rooms, well organised transport to and from San Jose.”

The location is beautiful, the transfer was organised and well run. The guide on the bus was interesting and engaging. The breakfast and lunch stops on the way were good quality local food. The trips into the national park were amazing, we saw so many animals including a sloth swimming across the river. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, the fan was a bit loud. The gardens in the resort were stunning with parrots, toucans and frogs, and there was a lovely pool for the kids to cool down in! Take bug spray +++++

Nice Lodge in the rainforest, waking up by the sound of howler monkeys. Good tours, excellent food.

Nice pools and gardens. Easy access to the beach and a pleasant walk among the trail or the beach to Tortoguero village

Good location to see the turtles nesting. 30min walk to the village

Absolutely amazing unique place. Fun sitting out on the veranda watching the wildlife (we saw Parrots, Racoons, Frogs toads, spiders). Good variety of food and incredible early morning safari and turtle watching tours.

Exceptional location! Did appreciate the full board proposition and do recommend to everyone to take this option when going to Tortugero. Very organised with taking guests to visit the surroundings and respectfull of nature and local community.

We thought the property was close to tortuguero village but it was a boat ride away. We were offered a bed and breakfast option when in reality there were no other options available without travelling to the village which costs 3000 to 4000 colon per person each way. This needs to transparent in all adverts for the property.

I loved the Laguna lodge experience - it was just brilliant. The guides and tours on the river ways were exceptional, the hotel was great, the food was plentiful, and the staff were super friendly. One of the few hotels that has direct access to the beach.

the gardens are nicely kept and being a bit away from Tortuguero village, it has a quiet stretch of beach. You can see some birds and wildlife from the garden itself. The pool looks nice, though gets busy at times.

Having read reviews before going - I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay. The hotel Is in the middle of nowhere and 1.5 hour boat ride from a parking lot (also in the middle of nowhere). The rooms are comfortable, there are 2 great swimming pools. We saw lots of animals in the lodge. The food is buffet style and quite decent
