“Great Place and Location, but noisy parties on weekends nearby”

The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed a lot sitting on the patio and watching the busy riverside. Great tours are organized by the hotel (general CR tour tip: do not go during the day, it's just too hot for the animals to show up. Can absolutely recommend the early-morning-kajak/canoe-tour and night tour). We were concerned about moskitos, as the location is so close to the river, but this was not an issue.

“Amazing place with lovely people”

Waking up with animals coming near us is amazing. The people there are all nice and welcoming, easy to talk to. This stop was a great one, I recommend totally this place for any nature watchers ! :) Plus, even after we left they were still taking care of us, I thought I forgot my car keys there so they looked and relooked again to help us as much as they could. Thanks again and sorry for that !

“A 10 out of 10 stay”

Location location location, just the absolute best place to be in Tortuguero. Right on the waterfront, we loved watching the daily activities from right outside our room. The staff here are just the best, the warmest welcome on arrival & we loved chatting to Gabriel about the wildlife, he was so friendly & kindly shared pictures with us of the wildlife we had seen. I would 100% stay here again & recommend Pura Natura to friends & family.

“The most stunning views in a cute little room perfect for a family”

Wow! What can I say, this place is a little piece of heaven on earth. You pull up by boat to your destination, your room backs onto the lake as you view the last thing you see before you sleep and the first thing you see when you wake up. The rooms are small but very cleverly done, with a little upstairs area providing a second bed, perfect for our family. With coffee making facilities, a fridge, and plates to make snacks and a good shower ! Everyone was super helpful and Nathalia and Daniel were lovely! Thanks all for the most wonderful time in Tortugero

The view is incredible, with a balcony directly on the river. The hotel is located at the center and the staff was friendly.

Amazing place, with beautiful views of the national park of Tortuguero. The hotel is in close proximity to the shopping street of Tortuguero. Natalia made our stay even more amazing, she was very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome.

Directly at the river and the room is really nice. The tours we booked with the hotel were really good as well. The communication before arriving was easy and fast.

Perfect place to sleep directly on the river side. The boat and the Kayak Tours starts directly on your terrace. Wonderful and exciting arrivel boat trip from the harbor to Tortuguero.

“Ideal place to stay with everything so close”

1st of all the name and location on Booking .com map is wrong. When you get off boat turn right walk 100 meters and look for sign Tuanis Guest House on your right. If you see Roots tour office you have just passsed it. The accomodation is on the bank of the canal so a perfect view. Room is a good size, hot water and spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpfull Purda Vida

It’s next a bar. The have music till 3 o clock in the night.

“Good for a night”

The view was stunning, just at the river, next to the harbor (not even 200m) and in the very « city center ». The second bed located at the window is definitely a big bonus of this location and the AC was enough to cool down all the areas. We spent a lot of time in the room due to the weather and we enjoyed it. It was clean but it could be for sure improved (AC remote control, windows)
