“Loved every thing about it”

Loved every thing about it. The room, the ventilation in the room and the a/c, having some of the kitchen equipment in the room as a fridge. Getting the housekeeping service everyday. It's really a lovely hostel with an amazing and relaxed vibe. I enjoyed my time relaxing by the hammocks hearing the sweet sound of the birds singing.

Beautiful property, well located a few minutes walk to everything . The owner and the staff were very responsive and helpful. Loved the vibe. Highly recommend!

The rooms are clean and the hammock area is nice. But the best part is the restaurant, best food and cocktails in Tortuguero

“Quiet stay in the heart of Tortuguero”

The location was perfect right at the pier with its own dock and terrace. There is a hangout area with comfy hammocks too, and a restaurant on site which served great food. We were able to cook our own breakfasts in the shared kitchen. We also had the entire room to ourselves with an extra bed because the hostel was quiet. We booked the kayak tour with the hostel and it was great!

The clean and comfortable AC non-humid rooms are great. I stayed in Arcaria hostel too where the rooms were dark, dampy and moist with quite some mosquitos, but changed to this hostel and was super happy here! Rooms come with fridge, AC and clean beds and a counter to cut fruits, wash your stuff. Location of the hostel is great!

I reserved two beds in four bed bunk room. At the end, my friend and I were by ourself in the room so we felt like in private room with own bathroom. The place was clean, you had plugs next to each bed with a space to put things + locker. There was also pretty a lot of space in the room for putting luggages and moving around. The location was great, just next to the harbour. Regarding some facilities, you had a coffee machine outside the room + access to the kitchen in the patio. I felt like nothing is missing, you could find easily the most common things there.

The rooms are exactly like the pictures. They were nice and clean. Also the bathroom was small but very clean. I liked it! The part with the common kitchen was weird. When I was there the kitchen was full of personal stuff from a family. But I stayed only 2 nights so I didn't care. The location was perfect.

I stayed at this hostel/hotel for 5 days, I was in a dorm and I can say the most comfortable bed ever! It was clean and brand new with big lockers, AC and a big fan with toilets and bathrooms inside each room and a beautiful balcony over the patio where you have many animals coming every day like monkeys and macaws! The people working there are the best 💚 It also has a restaurant and bar with a dock that’s amazing to watch sunset. I honestly could live there it was so green, clean, beautiful and new.

“I loved feeling like I was on an island.”

This was a fun visit. I loved feeling like I was on an island. There weren't any cars. It was easy to walk to the park and plenty of restaurants to choose from. We ate at the Patio too. The food was amazing. We had a great stay. We did take a canoe tour through the National Forest area and saw lots of animals, birds, etc. The turtle sanctuary was interesting. I would love to see the turtle run--usually in June. I liked where the Patio is located right on the dock where we were taken and picked up by water taxi.

This hostel is probably one of the best i’ve been to so far: affordable for backpackers, right near where the boats arrive in Tortuguero, there’s a supermarket 2mins away. There are girls-only dorms, with AC and its own bathroom, a mosquito net on the windows, the lockers are huge (my whole bag could fit inside!), and towels are included. Cleaning service every day. Beds are confortable and the outside area is very cozy with a great restaurant in the hostel (with an amazing view on the sunset!). The owner was here to welcome the guests and she is very helpful with any questions you could have, she even has a magazine with all the activities you can do in Tortuguero.

The hostel is absolutely new. They just opened a week ago. Best mattress I ever had in a hostel and they have even AC in each room. Nice style and extremely clean. I loved the option of a ladies only dorm. You have a nice balcony and directly at the lagoon you can chill on a floating dock. At the reception they organize amazing tours with local certified guides. Also the restaurant el Patio is very good, typical Caribbean food with a stunning few. Try the caribbean chicken. I could only recommend staying here.
