“Lovely location for a 3 night stay in Tortuguero. Quite basic accommodation.”

Its location facing the beach a short walk from the hustle and bustle of. We had a kitchen although it was not brilliantly equipped.

We had a good stay in Casa Turtle Bogue. It is just a step away from the ocean. It has comfortable beds and pillows, great shower and it is spacious. We didn't need to search for it. Everything is close there.

Amazing view of the beach and palm trees. We could enjoy it from our hammocks in our terrace.

“A touch of seclusion”

If you want to escape the confused wandering bands of German and French tourists at least for a little while, stay on the ocean side. This place has a much appreciated feeling of seclusion, and the sound of the ocean at night is worth the price.

It is well located near the beach. Host works with local tour company and it’s super easy to arrange activities. Everything was fluent. WiFi speed was quite good if you compare to other locations in Costa Rica, although sometimes it was off. I guess thats why there are two WiFi networks available 😀

The place is in front of the beach. Foot in the sand, and although it is not possible to swim in the sea, you can still get your ankles wet. It is also nice walking on the sand and even in the national park, next to the beach.

It's located in front of the beach with a very nice view. Moreover the place is close to the centre of the village. The room was equipped with a fridge and a water boiler, which is always helpful.

Location was right on the beach, so was wonderful to be able to see and hear the waves. The local cats were very friendly!

“Tortuguero is somewhere i’ve always wanted to visit, glad i did.”

What’s not to like about tortuguero, it’s a sensational place, turtle bogue was ok, great location right on front of the beach, awful showers and beds. We were met by a very nice guy from the harbour who showed us our accommodation, everyone is trying to sell something on this island when the trip from car park gives you everything, the boat ride is magical as is the wildlife.

Literally in front of the beach! Unbeatable quality price ratio. We enjoyed a lot the terrace and the location.

Very spacious room with all the equipment to self cater. The bed was comfy and loved the option to hang out in the hammock outside listen to the waves crashing! The staff was very helpful and they have some amazing guides that they work with (especially Kevin went out of his way to organise a tour for us). Good value for money.

It’s superb location, right on the beach. Great aircon, lovely inside space…plenty of room and kitchen facilities ok.

We spent only 1 night to do a night tour. The room was very nice, super clean, with AC, which was so important as it was too hot outside. The house is just in front of the sea so you can hear at night the sound of the waves, it was so relaxing. Also, in the room there were coffee, tea, and some candies. We really loved our stay here. Thank you!
