Alissie (sorry about the spelling) was lovely, as was her mum.and the rest of the family. It was easy to find with the map provided. Just turn down the first track opposite the bakery and it is the first hole in the bushes. The room is handy with the extra bed to lay your bags on and ac is very quiet. A handy communal fridge as well as a sitting area. WiFi worked well. Breakfast was amazing on the first day local breakfast with cheese, the second day was about half the size and no cheese but we did get fruit, and was still lovely.

Comfy bed, hot shower, good WiFi. Air-condition was good as well. In the price is included traditional CR breakfast and great coffee. Casa is close to boat docks. A nice stay.

It was nice located in the center and also close to the beach. The worked together with tour guys from Jaguar which where fantastic. Not expensive so don’t expect luxury which is not why’re traveling to Tortuguero.

It’s a very chilled and relaxed place. Close to the beach close to the supermarket and close to the center so perfect. The room was simple but very good AC worked perfectly. And the best Costa Rican Breakfast I’ve ever had👌 Would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Caribe. Comfortable beds, hot water, nice and clean room, delicious breakfast and the owner super nice.

Great breakfast, unfortunately, we forgot about it our first day! The owner was extremely kind and managed to send me via mail to San José an object I forgot in the room. Very nice place, nice garden with hummingbirds. Being able to use the fridge.

Lovely clean room (3 in total) Shower was hot, air conditioning in the rooms. Breakfast was made to order at any time. I was able to lay using Credit card.

Excellent location in the village centre, but quiet and comfy. We liked our hosts, who took time for a chat.

The breakfast was really nice (Gallo Pinto, Scrambled Eggs, small slice of bread and Coffee or juice). The People there were really friendly. The owners contacted me beforehand via booking.vom and Gave me very helpful Information about all the Trips we could do. They have their isn Staff that is Certified to do the Tours in the national Parks. I just Texted one of them (Erick) and He Planned Everything for us! So great!!

Simple but very clean. Delicious homecooked breakfast and very friendly hosts. Can recommend and would book again.

everything we needed for our stay in Tortuguero, small room with private bath, very nice host and breakfast, perfect location (everything is easily reachable via foot in Tortuguero and Casa Caribe is on a sidestreet maybe 2 minutes from the center)

Great cheap and cheerful location right in the middle of Tortuguero and only a couple of minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the entrance of the National park. I was greeted at the property by a young man (I forget his name) who explained everything to me and he acted like a bit of a translator as the owner and the lady do not speak English. He was great. The lady at Casa Caribe, Illiana, was amazing and very helpful and accommodating. Her English is limited as is my Spanish but we got on great using a translator app. She helped with ferry times and booking an online ticket for the volcano in San Francisco. She was also very accommodating with my breakfast choices. She and the young man, with their neighbour, brought me the biggest tub of water for a shower etc when all of the water was off for the whole village due to a broken pipe which was above and beyond.

Very nice setting with the hosts & owner living downstairs, this way they are available all the time. They have been very caring and helpful throughout the entire stay, thank you very much! Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and were made every day. The air conditioning works very well, wouldn't have wanted to sleep without it after the intense and busy days I had in Tortuguero. Very tasty breakfast and coffee in the morning. Conveniently located: 3 minutes by foot from the harbour, 1 minute to a supermarket, a bakery and a coffee shop. Yet, it is very calm during the night.
