“The best place to enjoy Tortuguero”

Couldn’t be closer to the ocean. Also really close to town centre and right on the main free trail in Tortuguero. The room was very spacious and clean. And most importantly the staff was amazing thank you all. Merci 🤗

“Amazing location, bargain price and sea view”

The location was amazing, we chose this for being on the beach and it really was, we were lucky enough to have the room with a beach view as we lay on the bed we could see the see through the parting in the trees. It took us 5 mins to walk to the local shop and food and 10 mins to walk to the nature reserve. We walked along the jaguar trail a couple of times without guides and saw all the animals we wanted, it was amazing. The receptionist organised a turtle watching tour for us again this was an amazing stay. I should also mention that the air conditioning in the room was the best I had in Costa Rica, if you left it on for about ten minutes you could see your breath which was perfect as it was very hot when we were there.

The location was amazing, a little walk out of the Main Street and right on the beach.

Very nice room. Clean, comfortable with good AC and an excellent shower. Nice location on the Carribbean coast, only a short walk to the main town. Very relaxed atmosphere with a Caribbean vibe. Very good kitchen amenities, including free coffee. Great value.

“Fantastic stay”

Brilliant location, minutes walk from the village and virtually on the beach. The accommodation had everything you need, including aircon and an outside area. The staff was extremely helpful. Tortuguero is so full of wildlife. This was a fantastic experience.

“Budget but nice stay with family”

Location was a small walk away from the city center. Which we really liked so we didn't have any disturbance. Kids had a good sleep on the bunk beds while the parents slept on the bed below. Was very delighted with the airco. Kids played on the beach and went with their knees into the sea (not further because of the rough sea). Liked the outdoor shower so we could wash off the sand before entering the room. Liked the small kitchen so we could prepare something ourselves.

The hotel is outside of the centre but only a short walk away. Calm neighborhood. We enjoyed to be so close to the beach, hearing the waves and to see the sea from the outside sitting area. We went several times to bath out legs (until knees) in the sea what was apparently okay. Helpful staff. We were happy to have a small kitchen with basic equipment. During the night we appreciated the airclime and a silent fridge.

Lovely right at the ocean, you can hear (and see) the waves! Hammocks for outside 👍🏻. Simple facilities, clean and everything worked.

“Great place to stay in Tortuguero!”

Perfect views of the sea. Near to drinking water and had our own hammock we could hang up. Our host was very helpful in arranging transport and activities. Be prepared to bring enough cash for your stay and activities here as no atms in Tortuguero. Great location for when we got picked up for night turtle watch and about 10 min walk to town (where I actually saw macaws and monkeys!). Air conditioning was great with the heat. Room as described.

Great location directly at the beach - you can see the waves from the bed! There were hammock and swings directly in front of the house at the beach. The turtle tour at night, the “drive” on the river and the canoe-tour was amazing!!! Ask for Luis Manuel because he is the most amazing and caring guide!

“Relaxing and peaceful stay”

The location was great and in front of the ocean and was wonderful to wake up to. Kitchen was very well equipped and even had coffee for the mornings. Large bed was very comfortable and was a large spacious room. I also managed to do my laundry which was great. Wonderful place to stay. Hot water in the shower was nice :) and it is very much needed for the rainy season
