Fun, great staff, thoughtful, easy to access and use facilities

Reasonably priced, decent sized en suite room and access to entrance area with shared 'kitchen' sink and coffee making facilities. Staff so helpful. Thank you. Breakfast good. Location close to restaurants, the beach and just several minutes walk to the National Park entrance, from which you can walk the Jaguar Trail independently. The Night Walk booked through the hostel reception is worth doing too. Would recommend.

Comfortable, clean rooms, good shared kitchen which was well equipped and had free coffee. Communal areas really nice with a sofa area and a rooftop terrace. Very easy to book transfers and tours at reception. Nice jungly setting, really handy for town and boat tours.

The staff were amazing, always available and happy to help with any questions we had. They also helped us organize our activities. The breakfast was delicious, and the hostel itself is superb. Highly recommended!

I mistakingly booked a family room so we had plenty of room. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Location was excellent. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable.tours for the hotel were excellent.

A lovely place in prime location. It's a cosy place with a beutiful and well- maintained garden. Staff is also super friendly. The rooms are basic but clean and big enough. The breakfast is superb!!!

Loved the location close to the beach and village. Room was cleaned daily and the facilities of a kitchen, hammock and breakfast (paid for) were most welcome. The staff are all courteous and helpful. A great choice of accommodation on this tranquil peninsula.

We loved the mosquito nets all being in tact and the 3 tours we booked were fabulous! Saw an abundance of wildlife! The kitchen is also large enough and had everything you needed. Staff were super helpful! Loved that the spider monkeys came right into the garden

“Great clean friendly hostel - good value for money.”

Very clean, nice kitchen area, staff were friendly and very receptive to any queries we had. The beds were comfy. If you want a private to and from the hostel then ask them to organise it for you. Our driver was lovely - more of a tour guide than anything. The hostel will also book up tours for you and provide torches and binoculars. They also had ponchos you could borrow.

“Absolutely recommended”

The hostel is located perfectly in the center of Tortuguero and close to the beach. The staff is very friendly, they welcomed us already in La Pavona because we booked a boat from there and also picked us up in Tortuguero to bring us to the hostel. The hostel is really cute, with a simple room that has everything you need. The breakfast is amazing as well as the garden and the common kitchen, our highlight were the hamocks in the garden. The hostel organizes every activity you might want to do, you can book it directly there and the guides are amazing.

Comfortable and clean accommodation. Had hot shower, AC, reasonable amount of space. The staff were helpful. Super close to the beach. The outdoor shower really helped with washing the sand off. Comfy communal space with lots of greenery and a decent kitchen to cook a simple meal.
