We had a wonderful stay at this villa. It’s a beautiful place with plenty of things to do, making it easy to relax and enjoy your time without ever getting bored. The atmosphere is peaceful and well-maintained, perfect for a getaway. The owner was extremely helpful and very friendly, always available to assist and make sure everything was perfect for our stay. We highly recommend this villa and would definitely love to return in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is very spacious, spotless, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming — we truly felt taken care of. Our children loved the playground, and the jacuzzi was a fantastic place to unwind after a long day. We were also pleasantly surprised by the delicious basket of treats prepared for us by the owner. We highly recommend this place!

The place is wonderfully situated, very calm and quiet, plenty of trees around so the temperature is nice. There is everything you might need in the kitchen and in the house including appliances and a grill. Despite being situated on the outside of the town shops, bakerys and cafes are very close. We were able to walk for a coffee and fresh bread every day. The people are very friendly and helpful and the town is small but very well communicated. There is also a great restaurant in walking distance. We were there with family and a 2 year old, who had plenty to do on account of the playground, pool and a lot of walking area.

“Amazing villa”

Villa lara is absolutely perfect. The host is so passionate about what he does and is truly a lovely person. The villa itself is absolutely huge and has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. We spent 5 incredible nights here and would of loved to of stayed longer. The area itself didn't have loads to do, but as we hired a car, we happily drove further out for day trips. I'd recommend people to visit villa lara.

“Beautiful spacious villa with everything you need”

Beautiful villa, it is clear that the owner built it for his family, every detail is beautiful. Our host is a really nice person, he was happy to let us into his home. The environment is magical, close to nature, beautiful view.

The owner Sebastiano was really friendly and he left us a huge welcome basket full of food including his own pistachio cream. We loved the pool, the hot tub, the gym, the outdoor seating, actually everything! The villa was amazing, so well equipped, it really did have everything you could ever need. It was a wonderful place for our holiday.

Everything from start to finish was wonderfull. The area of mountains but near sea, villa with great pool area, owner, price… we are traveling a lot and this was one of the best experiences. I recomend this villa, its better than in pictures. Its classic, but not old, i has very special atmosphere. I want to thank owner and his son for great communication, they are really great hosts 👍

Fantastic house in marvellous surrounding with the best host one could imagine. The house is located on a hill sides which provides a great scenery. It has everything and more you could ask for in a holiday house. It is extremely spacious and clean, with a very classy interior. The hospitality provided by the owner of the house makes you feel at home instantly. It was just such a great experience that you may not even want to return home. Everything was perfect! Very clean, nice and cozy, Kids had lots to do (pool, jacuzzy, playground). The owner of the villa is a very kind and helpful person and speaks several languages.

The Villa was overwhelming and overall amazing. My family and I were welcomed by the host Sebastiano, who is just unbelievably welcoming with little gifts and enthusiasm about his Villa. The property itself is just a piece of art in the middle of mountains with beautiful views and comfortable accommodations. Must visit for a quiet and relaxing family visit.

“Fantastic villa”

Fantastic property situated in a quiet part of Sicily. Sebastiano is a proud Sicilian: generous, respectful and above all, eager to make your stay memorable. This is unlike many other places we stayed at, we instantly felt at home. You notice that maximising the profit is not the centre stage at this rental. Too many places charge extra for things like using air conditioning, for this or that. Not here. On arrival there was a large basket with local products waiting for us (fresh food, vegetables, fruits, sweets, wine, prosecco etc.). The villa was clean and everything worked as expected. Refreshing pool, good gym, sauna, jacuzzi, even a piano (which my kids used daily). A small playground for younger guests is just below the pool, plus a fitness circuit, for those looking to stay fit on holiday. If you prefer cooking, plenty of space and materials are available (including a wood fire pizza oven). There are 2 kitchens plus an external cooking area (with a grill). 3 bathrooms plus another one by the pool, and an extra outdoor shower. Rooms are large and nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable and the atmosphere is relaxed, exactly what a family needs on holiday. You will certainly need a car to explore the area around Tortorici. If you are after the beach, reserve around 30 min. driving to Capo D'orlando. A bit over an hour to Cefalu (worth a day trip). Mountain walks are close and Sebastiano will offer ideas for each day of your holiday. Shops/supermarkets are also very close (short walk down the road from the villa). You deposit the rubbish/recycling outside and this will be taken away daily. The pool will be cleaned daily. Please respect the locals, treat the villa as your own, and your holiday will be a success. Overall, a fantastic villa, great value for money, highly recommended. Large, luxurious home in the mountains. Had everything you could need .. hot tub, pool, playground for the kids. Was just stunning. Sebastiana went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Situated in a tranquil location, the villa provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A highlight of my experience was the hospitality of Sebastiano, our gracious host. Not only was he exceptionally friendly, but he also went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. His recommendations for local restaurants and excursions added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. I must also extend my gratitude for the thoughtful gesture of the generous gift basket. It was a delightful surprise and a testament to Sebastiano's commitment to providing guests with a truly remarkable experience. Overall, my time at this villa exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to Sebastiano's warmth and attention to detail. “Perfect”

The house is amazing, the view is beautiful & the host is friendly. The pictures only give a glimpse of what you’ll experience at Villa Lara. There is an instant feeling of being at a home away from home as soon as you walk in. The furniture/decor is inviting and comfortable. The outdoor area was a joy to use. The pool was still a bit cold in March but the jacuzzi was enjoyed by all. Our younger kids loved the playground area! You can easily do day trips to Cefalu, Taormina & surrounding areas or just stay & relax in the beautiful area. There’s also a grocery store within a 5 minute walk. Just as most other reviews have said, Sebastiano is a great host. He brings this property to the next level! He went above and beyond any expectations I’ve ever had for a host. Our family of 6 has been travelling all over Europe for the past 4 years and Sebastiano is the most genuine host we’ve ever encountered. His kindness and generosity will never be forgotten! Thank you for sharing your home with us! I will forever be grateful that our paths crossed. If I ever make it back to Sicily, a stay at Villa Lara is on my list.

“Dream destination.”

Photos don't justify the property. Host was super welcoming, available and ready to help within minutes. We were welcomed with a basket of local products, ricotta, salami, cheese, fruits and wines. Was also cordial enough to make available bread and water and coffee pods. Kitchen very well equipped, good amount of towels, sheets and quilts. Property was extremely clean. Located in the best part of Sicily (in my opinion) very scenic surroundings, private whilst 2 min away from nearest village. Overall experience 10/10.
